What do you know about AIDS causes?

HIV infection causes Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), the second being the one that results from. It focuses on CD4 cells, a certain kind of white blood cells, which are mandatory for the immune system to fight illnesses. This implies that when the virus spreads and destroys CD4 cells, the immune system is weakened to such an extent that it allows some cancers as well as other opportunistic infections.HIV is mostly spread through various fluids in a person’s body who has contracted AIDS; this includes blood, semen, vaginal secretions, rectal secretions and breast milk.

The main methods used by individuals when they acquire HIV include unprotected sexual intercourse, sharing of syringes or needles, transmission from mother-to-child during breastfeeding or at birth and coming into contact with infected blood.A term that sometimes confuses people with AIDS while referring to the last stage of HIV infection where the immune system is so destroyed that it opens way for opportunistic infections or malignancies. Some huge leaps have been made in the management of HIV to stop it developing into AIDS most notably via antiretroviral therapy as its medical treatment.

What do you know about AIDS treatment?

To treat AIDS I don't really think it's possible because i haven't head or seen someone being cured but patients can take some drugs to slow down the progression of the disease and lengthen their lives that's all I know. Antiretroviral therapy (ART) is the most common treatment for HIV/AIDS. This includes taking a combination of several drugs used to fight against HIV hence reduce its rate of growth and progression. Essentially, these medications obstruct the virus’s ability to multiply in human cells.To manage symptoms and other effects from HIV/AIDS, additional forms of supportive therapies might be used in addition to ART.

What do you know about AIDS preventive measures?

What I know about AIDS prevention is Sexual Safety to reduce the risk of transmitting HIV through regular, consistent and correct condom use also try and get tested for HIV so that you will know your status another thing is regular testing can help prevent future transmissions as well as allowing early diagnosis this can lead to improved treatment results.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis is a drugs one of the drugs that leant when I was in secondary school and it's a medication that is being taken by individuals that has a high vulnerability to HIV infection and after 72 hours of HIV-exposure, post-exposure prophylaxis is administered in order to prevent the onset of infection.
