Have you ever taken a multivitamin before? Why?

Of course, I have taken a multivitamin before, that I think was quite an interesting experience I still remember when my junior sister was still in the womb, my mother ensured that she takes good vitamins and I wondered why so one day I decided to take it I assumed it will be interesting to try what she was consuming to encourage her and the fetus 😀 junior sister, she made sure to stay healthy, and I got curious about her vitamins.

In retrospect it was like a little adventure in nutrition, and I was beginning to realize unduly how important it is for my mother to manager extra nutrients. It did make me realise the importance of vitamins to our bodies significantly.

What are the goods and bars of multivitamins to our health?

Multivitamins can be used as a means of supplementing those vitamins which a person is likely to miss in his or her normal daily diet because of this they can assist in supplementing nutritional deficiencies, sustaining well being, improving immune function, anti aging and improved energy. However, it is crucial to express that they are not a replacement for a normal diet plan, and a healthy way of living.

A human is also deprived of his health if more vitamins and minerals are taken by him. Everyone should consult their doctor before starting this or any supplement as some things may interfere with other medicines a person takes, or medical conditions they have.

Do you believe that everyone should take multivitamins, or are they only necessary for certain groups of people?

Taking multivitamin is effective for some groups of the population, for example, those who lack definite vitamins and minerals, those who lead restricted diet, pregnant or nursing mothers, the elderly, and patient with such diseases. And most individuals should be able to obtain all the vitamins and minerals necessary from a diet, which is low in fat, high in fiber and amino acids and rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Just like any other supplement, food substance or a medicine it is always advisable to consult the doctor or any nutritionist to check if the multivitamins are required at all for the prevailing condition.

What do you think about the differences between synthetic and natural vitamins? Which do you prefer?

Two common topics with synthetic and natural vitamins are the issue of absorption and efficiency. There are natural vitamins which are extracted from fresh vegetables and fruits and these vitamins are bound to be accepted by the body system as good vitamins that would be used to improve body functions hence better absorption and utilization. Are usually sold along with other nutrients which will boost the impact of the products.

In contrast, synthetic vitamins are made and may not have the same advantages, for the body can barely assimilate them at times. The vitamins I prefer going for are natural vitamins compared to the synthetic vitamins because they are derived from natural foods. Nevertheless, I disbelief in the right or wrong food choices that are healthy for citizens and their lifestyles.

In your opinion, how important is it to consult a healthcare professional before starting a multivitamin regimen?

But as many have said it over and over, one should consult a doctor before starting any multivitamin regiment because they can provide much more detailed advice about the general state of health of any particular people, any chronic diseases, or any medications that person may be on.

It may be useful to consult with a healthcare professional to figure out whether you need a multivitamin at all, what formulations should be taken to correct the deficiency in your diet and whether the combination of the supplement and your current medications or medical conditions is safe. Such customized counselling may maximise benefits of consumption of multivitamins and minimise possible adverse effects.
