I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. How are you all ?. I hope you all are well and doing great in your life .Today I am participating in this contest Health Matters (18); MULTI-VITAMINS organized by @sahmie in Healthy Steem Community. So let's start.
Have you ever taken a multivitamin before? Why?
Yes, I have taken multivitamins before. A while ago, I consulted a doctor because I used to experience body pain and muscle weakness. I would get tired verry quickly when doing any work. Also, I had a specific issue with pain in my knee, which was related to an old injuury from childhood. Due to this, I developed certain problems, so I sought medical advice.
Then the doctor initially prescribed me painkillers and some calcium supplements, but later he recommended multivtamins as well. Since I started taking thoese, I feel much healthier, and my body pain has significantly reduced.
I also feel more active and energetic after taking them and when I miss them I feel lszy. These multivitamins have been very beneficial for me. Now, wheneverr someone shares similar issues, I suggest they try multivitamins too.
What are the goods and bars of multivitamins to our health?
These multivitamins have both good and bad effects on our health. They provide esential nutrients to our body, which makes uss feel healthier and more active. If someone feels weak or has isues like bone pain, multivitamins can be very helpful.
Taking them strengthens our body, makes daily tasks easier, and reduces tiredness and also important to maiintain a healthy diet along with taking multivitamins to keep the body fully strong and healthy.
And taking too many multivitamins can cause harm. Excessive use can lead to problems like lumps or other health isues. Some people may also experience allergies, especially skin alergies.
That’s why important to take these only as advised by a doctor and avoid consuming too much. If we used properly, they are beneficial, but if misused, they can cause problems.
Do you believe that everyone should take multivitamins, or are they only necessary for certain groups of people?
In my experience these should only be taken when prescribed by a doctor. If someone feels weak or pain in body orr has a specific issue, then they should visit the doctor, and explain their problem, and take these multivitaminls only if the doctor recommends them. And taking them without proper tests or a doctor’s guidance is not a good idea because too many vitamins can also be harmful to our health.
Most of the time,I have seen doctors prescribe multivitamins to older age people because their bones tend to weaken with age. For them, these vitamins can be very helpful. But also important to always follow the doctor’s advice and not take multivitamins on your own.
What do you think about the differences between synthetic and natural vitamins? Which do you prefer?
I think there are two main ways to get vitamins: synthetic and natural. Synthetic vitamins are made in labs and can be found in maedical stores or shops. These vitamins, like folic acid and biotin, are usually easy to take by mixing them with water, and they are abbsorbed quickly by the body. They are made in factories and contain specific ingredents designed for quick results.
Natural vitamins come from fruits, vegetables, and dry fruits. We can get them by eating the food or drinking their juice. Natural vitmins are beter for our health because they are fresh and come directly from nature.
They have other nutrients that support the absorption of vitamins and are generally more beneficial for the body. I personally believe the natural vitamins are best for health, as they are fresh and provide a complete set of nutrients that synthetic vitamins can’t fully offer.
In your opinion, how important is it to consult a healthcare professional before starting a multivitamin regimen?
Yes, as I mentioned earlier, it's very important to consult a doctor before starting a multivitamin regimen. When we begin taking multivitamins, ywe should always ask a doctor to prescribe them. It's not enough to just assume that our body needs vitamins if we're feeling weak or showing symptom.
A doctor should conduct tests to confirm whether your body really lacks certain vitamins. Only after a proper diagnosis and prescrription from the doctor should you start taking multivitamins.
Taking them without professional advice can lead to side effects to our body, as too many vitamins can have harmful effects on your body. So it’s important to take only the vitamins that your body actually needs, as determined by your doctor.
That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @tammana, @aviral123 and @norat to participate in this amazing contest.
