What is inflammation?
When doing activities with a healthy and fit body, sometimes at some point we feel like something makes our body hurt, either inside or outside the body, sometimes it's skin irritation, swelling of the skin, mild itching pain and so on, this is one type of mild inflammation that we often experience every day, here is the definition of inflammation that I have summarized as best as possible.
Inflammation is the body's immune response that causes redness and swelling in the tissue area in the body or even in the body area. Inflammation itself is also called inflammation which is the body's defense mechanism against foreign objects felt by the body.
Causes of inflammation?
Inflammation itself can occur when the body releases chemicals that trigger an immune response in the body to heal damaged tissue or fight infection.
Inflammation can occur due to insect bites, excessive activity or due to injuries such as sprains and muscle strains.
Inflammation also has its own signs that will remind us to go to the doctor immediately if we feel it, here are the signs of inflammation that occur in our bodies.
- pain
- heat
- redness
- swelling
- and loss of limb function
And if the inflammation we experience is chronic, the signs can get worse, such as:
- causes fatigue
- weight changes
- joint pain
- gastrointestinal problems such as constipation
- and so on
How inflammation can be treated
Inflammation itself can be treated in several ways, depending on the type of inflammation and its cause.
If we experience acute inflammation, here's how to treat it:
- get enough rest
- treat wounds properly
- use cold compresses to reduce swelling and also uncomfortable pain in the swollen area of the body
If you experience short-term inflammation, you can take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which you can get at the nearest pharmacy depending on your doctor's prescription.
And if you experience chronic inflammation, the way to treat it is as follows:
- take drugs containing Vitamins A, C and D, and zinc.
- take NSAIDs
- have injections to relieve symptoms of inflammation in certain joints or muscles in the body.

It is good to administer vitamins like you've mentioned, Inflammation is not a case for panic, but it can become if not treated early and properly.
To prevent it , staying away from dirty and polluted environment, avoid unhealthy lifestyle and so on can help.
