Organ donation, legal or illegal? 🔄

Firstly I want to tell you what is organ donation so this is actually a surgical procedure in which we remove an organ from one body and then we transplant it into the patient's body so sometimes this can be acceptable by the patient and sometimes it cannot be.

• There are three types of organ donation

• For example if the person is in a very serious disease he is about to expire but he wanted to donate his or her organs before he passed away. Means as his all the organs are still working and in alive condition for example liver the kidneys.

Deceased donation

• After the death of any person his family members if they agree to donate for example heart lungs and labour in the working alive condition can be donated.

• Cadaveric donation this is the third type of donation which can be done.

Illegal organ donation

• For example some people without the consent and due to poverty are any unethical reason with out telling the patient they remove their organs and sale them.

Disadvantage of illegal organ donation

• For example if the patient is already in a very sick and he is organs are stolen so he is very prone towards risk.

• Or for example if any persons organs has been removed and he has been not informed and has not get the medical treatment might get a lot of complications after the removal.

• The person who is stolen the organs and he might have hepatitis c or AIDS.

• And another most common reason is for example if the other body in and don't find the organ as his bodies organs and may reject the organs so there is a chances of organ failure.

• Another important reason if such people came into the play and might the other people don't visit many private or government hospital trust is broken.

• And people has been miss used so much for example these stolen organ has been sale in higher prices.

Prevention

• There should be law to secure organ donation
• Infrastructure should be improved
• Ethical donation should be promoted

Ethical donation

• NGOs should be made to secure living, deceased or cadaveric donation programs.

• By promoting all these we can protect organ donation and can protect all the factors.
