Brain tumor.
Introduction
The abnormal growth of the cells in the brain is known as the brain tumours. These brain tumours can be non cancerous which are called as the benign and also can be cancer or which are called as the malignant tumours.The brain tumours can develop from the types of the brain cells and can occur in other parts of the human body and can spread to the brain and thus named as the brain tumours.
Symptoms
The symptoms of the brain tumours vary as they depend on the size of the tumour, which type of the tumour and what is the location of the tumour in the brain.
The headache is considered the most common symptom of the brain tumour. The headache may be worse in the time of morning and it can be get worse when a person wakes up from sleep at any time either evening, morning or night.
The seizures can be a sign of the brain tumours. They may include the intervals of the confusion or convulsions.The symptoms of the brain tumours also include the problems associated with the cognition. The people affected with the brain tumours suffer from difficultly in concentration and memory problems.
In the brain tumours the intracranial pressure increases which can cause the symptoms of the nausea and vomiting.If the tumour present in the auditory pathways the patients can experience the problems with the hearing and if these tumours present in the optic nerve they can cause changes in the vision or the patient can suffer from blurred vision of double vision.
The patient can experience difficulty with balance and coordination and feel difficultly while walking or standing.

One of the main cause of the brain tumours is the genetics, some genetic disorders like tuberous sclerosis is associated with the risk of the brain tumours.The environmental factors such as exposure to the radiations can increase the risk of the brain tumours.
They are more common in the children but they can occur at any type of the age, the male gender is more at risk than the females.The weakness of the immune system can cause brain tumours the patients with HIV are at the risk of the brain tumours.
Treatment
If the presence of the brain tumours is accessible, the surgical procedure is done. The purpose of the surgery is the removal of the tumours.
A treatment is called as the radiation therapy is also a treatment option for the brain tumours patients. In this treatment high energy radiations are used to kill the cancerous cells. It is done after the surgery.In chemotherapy the drugs are used to kill the cancerous cells to stop their growth.
