My Four Footed Friend
I have different types of four footed friends which are Dog, Sheep, Goat, and pig.
Today I will be talking about pigs as my four footed friends.
Pigs is a domestic animal also known as swine or hogs, pigs are omnivores mammals with short bristle and tick skin, a male pig is called sare, the females are called sow, the young and baby pigs are called piglets.
My dad owns a few numbers of pigs that why I consider it as my Four Footed Friend because of the time and moment I spend taking care of them, because I was the one in charge of their feeding and maintenance of their house.

Starting in the morning when I sweep and clean their house, change their drink water and feed them three to four times a day depending on the quantity of food you give them, I usually feed them with cassava, rice bran, vegetables and some leaves, soya beans, maize e.t.c

Recently one of our female pig just gave birth to 8 piglets, I have been observing the pregnancy for like 3 months now, pigs takes about three months three weeks and some day to gives birth that approximately four months.
Despite the fact that this pigs are meant for consumption and commercial purpose but consider them as pet because of the time and moment I spent with them.Though the work and stress in rearing pigs is stressful and difficult but the benefits in it is much.

This particular animals known as pig is very fast in reproduction it can give birth 2 to 3 times a year depending on the species of pig,
Pig is a very nice animals to rear when you know how to maintain and feed them properly especially when kept in a good environment that supports body and growth.

I have finally come to the end of this contest on "My day with my four footed friend/friends (32)" which I will like to invite my fellow steemians @josepha, @ctime, @solperez, and @simonnwigwe to take part in this contest

Me encantó leerte.
