let's honor the person with a disability

Hello healthy steemians, how is your day, hope you all had a great time. People with disabilities needs to be honoured, and respected just like others because they are all humans like us. I appreciating @edgargonzalez for choosing this topic as a medium to honor the people with disabilities.

My understanding of the word disability is a condition a person or animal have (be it physical or mental) that barriers or make them (humans or animal) unable to involve in some activities or interaction with the world in a way known to everyone (formal). It could be caused at birth, life circumstances like accidents, and illness etc. (But this content is centered on humans)

Most common disabilities are: blindness, lame, deafness, mental health disability like depression and anxiety and intellectual disability. In all of this, having a disability does not tell who that person is but its describe the person's condition, so everyone deserves to be treated right and respected.

Sure, disability is quite a challenging condition, and it can hinder a disabled person or persons in carrying out activities but so many people with disabilities do not use this as an excuse rather they will face their challenges, adapt to it, overcome it and succeed.

Life can really be distressing and frustrating for people with disability. Depending on the type and form of disability, most disabled people have trouble walking, speaking, and maintaining balance. Some of them will want to run, jump, and play like other people but cannot. Getting dressed, eating, bathing and doing other basic tasks may require huge amounts of energy, efforts and some help from others.

Their most miserable situation is not only their physical disability. They are always very sensitive to the reactions of others, wondering what other people think of their appearance. They are always felt alienated from people. Being different also subject them to endless teasing, bullying and prejudices.

A person is said to be disabled if he or she cannot or have difficulty in carrying out the most basic tasks of life. Such person is battling with the limits placed upon him/her by nature, physical, mental or medical conditions.
