Assalamualaikum steemians

Medications are given through different routes so different people have different choices about drugs consuming and their routes especially so I am going to talk about my choice here

20240304_112508_0000.png

πŸ’‰Which of these three routes of medication administration do you consider the fastest and most effective to relieve pain, why?

There are different methods to get relief from pain but one of the most effective method and effective root of administrating medication or analgesic is through intravenous route means (Medication through injection into veins) and this is one of the most effective method because you are going to inject medicine directly into your veins and it automatically directly enters into your blood stream in this way it give you a quick relief.

20240304_112721_0000.png

While when I talk about oral meditations then there is proper way of absorption of medicine that's why sometimes we also see a delay in abortion of medicine that's why most of the emergency conditions require intravenous drugs to enter into the body so that it may provide a quick relief. This is also very important to know that what every medicine we cannot give it through veins because mode of action of each and every drug is different as well as route of administration also depends upon the medication to medication and severity of your pain which you are feeling.

πŸ’Š There are two ways to administer injected treatment, intravenous and intramuscular. Which of them do you prefer in case you need quick relief or discomfort?

If I am feeling a lot of pain and discomfort then definitely I will go for intravenous route of administrating medicine in my bloodstream and this is because that on the basis of research and study I already have an idea that when medicine would directly enter into my blood and dissolve in it then it would inhibit the receptors that are responsible for giving me the sensations of pain and as a result I would feel a very quick relief.

20240304_113144_0000.png

There is another option which is intra muscular injection and these are the injections that are administered by the physician into the muscular tissues and mode of action of intramuscular injections are also quick but not more than intravenous because sometimes intermuscular injection take some time in their absorption but not for every time you can choose the route of drug administration for you and this is because there are specific conditions been treated by the healthcare provider and different severities of different conditions also so in this way rather than you you should allow your doctor to take decision to give you medicine administration rather than you are giving your own opinion to your doctor.

πŸ’‰There is a very good medicine for our body vitamin B12, why do you think they indicate it more in injection and not in pills? Do you think they do not have the same components or the same effect?

VitaminB12 another name is folic acid. Basically is one of the most important type of vitamin B which is very important for the development of neurological issues that fight these are highly recommended for individuals that have neurological issues and that's why for the well development of neural tissues and neural tube these are recommended to pregnant women also so moving towards original answer....!!

Most suitable vitamin B12 route of administration into the body is not oral route because whenever we give oral vitamin B12 then it also have to pass through our digestive system so most of the time it takes a lot of delay in its absorption properly into the body that why it is not recommended mostly to give through its oral route.Especially the persons who have poor gut health are not given vitamin B12 through oral way.

When I talk about administration of vitamin B12 which is another name of folic acid through injections then it bypass any kind of absorption issues and directly enter into the blood stream but when I talk about effectiveness of vitamin B12 through injections and vitamin B12 through pills then effectiveness is same but there be of administration may be changed by your doctor on the basis of need of patient depending upon patient body needs and requirements.

πŸ’ŠIf you are one of those who do not take pills and you do not like injections, what other method are you looking for to relieve pain or discomfort!?

When I talk about pills then this is nothing which is tasty and which I can enjoy by its taste and when I talk about injection then definitely it gives you little bit pain and gives you pricking likes sensation that's why I also don't like it both these ways to give myself relief from pain and discomfort but there are some other ways about which I know and about which I am going to share that are much comfortable for me.

I am sure that most of you people have heard many times about topical treatments which include topical applications of different products like different creams and gels that contains analgesic properties which you can apply to the affected area for getting release from pain and discomfort. I have one topical cream in my mind that you use mostly at burn because it gives you relieve from burning sensation and from that pain and it is available in my country Pakistan from the name Queench cream as well as I also know that there are many transdermal patches available that is very helpful for giving you a convenient way to reduce your pain but over the counter you should not use any meditation just 5 thinking that this is transdermal and topical.

I want to invite here @pelon53,@alejos7ven ,@adeljose ,@chant to participate

Hello friend

You shared how the intravenous mode of adminstration is really vital as my bong in through the veins is quite faster to get to the blood stream than the oral mode of adminstration which has to be digested and absorbed before it takes its effects in view of this hospitals make us of the intravenous mode of medication. Thanks for your beautiful entry my dear friend.

I am happy to see your comment at my post and I also agree with you that when you enter any drug into your veins then it is absorbed by your body in a very quick way because they is no need to pass this drug through digestive system that's why directly entering into the blood it starts its action very quickly.

It was my pleasure to share my beautiful entry with all of you πŸ’ž
Thanks for your praising words and appreciation

Medication through injection into veins is one of the most effective methods because you inject medicine directly into your veins, providing quick relief.

I agree that intravenous medication tends to offer faster relief. I've noticed that when a medication goes directly into the bloodstream, it often acts more swiftly, making it a preferred option for addressing intense pain.

If I am feeling a lot of pain and discomfort, I will go for intravenous route of administering medicine in my bloodstream.

From my observation, opting for intravenous administration during severe pain seems like a reasonable choice. It aligns with my understanding that injecting medication directly into the bloodstream can be more effective in providing rapid relief.

Most suitable vitamin B12 route of administration into the body is not oral route because it takes a lot of delay in absorption through the digestive system.

As far as I know, the preference for injecting Vitamin B12 instead of oral administration is due to the potential delay in absorption through the digestive system. My opinion is that bypassing this route can be crucial, especially for individuals with poor gut health, ensuring quicker and more reliable absorption. Vitamin B12 absorbtion also require intrinsic factor for absorbtion which is secreted by stomach , so there are multiple steps at which delay is possible . So parental route is preferred.

Good luck .

Thank you so much for visiting my post and it's good that you have noticed while taking medicine that when you use any medicine in the form of injection then it gives you a quick relief rather than you use same medication with oral route.

As well as it is good that you agree with me regarding the absorption of vitamin B12 which is one of the most essential vitamin that there are many people who have weak immunity as well as is also a factor in those people who are unable to absorb this vitamin because of their poor health of digestive system so that the reason that this vitamin should always be injected but with the prescription of doctor because we cannot use anything over the counter as we don't know about complexity of different things.

Thank you so much for wishing me good luck and leaving your such a extensive and encouraging comment

It is interesting to hear about your preferences in medication administration. Topical treatments like creams and transdermal patches do provide a convenient alternative for those who dislike pills or injections. It is essential to consider individual comfort and the specific needs of each medical situation.

I am also of the school of thought that IV does it faster. Due to the bloodstream route that tend to boycott stomach digestion, it gets to body more faster and brings relief. Good luck

I know that IV is best route but there are many people who become afraid of just this pricking of needle πŸ’‰ haha πŸ˜†

But we should focus on effectivity of the drug that if we are taking it then it should also give us benefit and we should not take any kind of risk to take it orally especially if we already know that we have issues related to digestion.

Thank you wishing me good luck 🀞

Hahaha, exactly. I have those feeling initially. Don't like needles coming my way and especially my skin. But its all about health and we have to feel better.

πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ Don't worry there could be other methods for pain relief....(Available in market in the form of creams and different gels)...

Stay blessed πŸ˜‡

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Not worried at all. I'm already good with those other ones.
Thanks for the best wishes. Nice day

Haha πŸ˜…
Good and blessed day to you too ☺️

Hope you are well. I have read your posts before and I really like them. You do such a great steemit and I hope you continue to do the same. I am very happy to see your post and find it very interesting post

Thanks for reading my posts in a detailed way but there's an advice...
As you are a newcomer that's why I am giving you an advice that always try to leave comments according to the relevant post at which you are commenting because that comments looks more justified...

Hello @khursheedanwar ,hope your day is going well and it's great you shared that the fastest and most effective route for pain relief medication is intravenous administration because it directly enters your bloodstream, providing quick relief. Intramuscular injections are also quick but may take slightly longer to absorb.

I agree that Vitamin B12 is often given through injections because oral absorption is slow, especially for those with poor gut health, but both methods are equally effective. For those who dislike pills and injections, you have also shared that topical treatments like creams and transdermal patches offer convenient alternatives for pain relief without the discomfort of oral medication or injections.

Hlo sis 😊
I hope you would be fine ☺️
I'm happy that you have leaved a justified comment at my post and you really like the way in which I have shared about my choice of using most effective way of administration of drugs and medicines and that is IV route and not only this I have also explained reason behind my choice and I think my reason is also very clear and justified.

I agree that both methods either it is IV or oral are equally effective in giving vitamin B12 but not in that case that remains equal in which patient already have any disturbance in his digestion process so effectivity definitely decrease in this case due to poor absorption.I always prefer transdermal patch and topical creams for pain relief in my case and I think many people would to go with my choice.

Thanks for being here πŸ₯°

Saludos! πŸ‘ΎπŸ‘ΎπŸ‘Ύ

I agree that most of the times injections are given in emergency and alarming situations because they start their actions quickly but oral medications have very slow absorption so I can give a randomized ratio to oral intake and injection intake of medicine as 3:1 regarding its absorption...

Thanks for loving my content much

Some pills are bitter. I can remember my children on their early age refused to take this tablets. I used jam or yoghurt to give them those pills.

You are saying that some pills are better but I can say that 98% of the pills are bitter haha πŸ˜‚...

I don't know that how to give jam and yogurt with those pills πŸ€”πŸ€”

Well thanks for visiting

It was good to read your blog , its always good to read more perspective on a topic. It was information for me that B12 is same as folic acid. I have been recently using B12 but quite expensive make, folic acid is comparatively quite affordable so now onwards I will take folic acid when needed. And I have heard about folic acid that its not having side effects we can take it even on regular basis.

You have better understanding I like to read that whenever you feel more this comfort her pain you prefer to have intravenous way of medication and I think you do great job while prefer the intravenous way I rememberd when I have typhoid and I was very afraid of intravenous route but my consultant told me there is no other way and this is a best option to do and you will you relieve better so instead of my fair I prefer to have intravenous because I wanted to get healthy soon so you have read information article best of luck

Thank you for giving your response at my post and I am happy that you like my choice of taking medicine from intravenous way as well as I can understand about typhoid whatever your doctor told you that there is no another way to get relief from pain rather than taking drug through intravenous way.

Thanks @khursheedanwar for sharing about ways to ease pain. I find it cool to hear how medicine given through a vein can work fast. Your explanation about how it goes right into the blood and helps quickly makes sense. In emergencies, time is super important, so a fast method is a big deal. Trusting doctors to give the right meds is key. They know a lot about different conditions and what works best. Excited to learn more from you

Assalamu Alaikum dear brother, you have written very nicely in details the steps we have to take for sickness. You said you would treat the pain with safe medication. The pain is cured very quickly as the dose of medicine is mixed with the blood of the human body through this method. I agree with you because the tablets and the human body work slowly. But we must take safe medicine as advised by the expert doctor. I got a lot of information about vitamin B12 through your post. You write great. So good luck to you.

Wasalam

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment at my post and I am happy that you learn many things from my post and especially about vitamin B12 as well as when I talk about medicines then definitely they are for the relief of pain but along with side effects also that's why we should always avoid them and take care of ourself but still in case of illness intravenous way is fastest to get recovery.

Thanks for wishing me good luck

Your comprehensive explanation of intravenous and intramuscular medication administration is insightful, emphasizing the importance of quick relief based on the severity of the condition. Your clarification on vitamin B12 administration sheds light on the efficiency of injections. Exploring topical treatments as an alternative to pills or injections is a practical approach. #HealthcareInsights

Thank you so much for understanding my comprehensive explanation on intramuscular and intra vascular injections as well as I am happy that on the best route of administration of vitamin B12 you are also agree with it and tropical treatments are alternative to pills and injections that can be used I agree.

Thanks for being here at my post
