Greetings! To everyone of you. Before I start, I'd want to thank the Healthy Steem Community for organising this challenge, which I'm delighted to take part in. I'd like to send a welcome and best wishes to all the steemists..

What is Behaviour?
The behaviour, as such, is the overall result of all the activities which we do to interact with the outer and inner factors of our existence. Like a mirror, it reveals who we are, which consists of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions interwoven by our lives, environment, and genes. Behaviour is not an unchanging variable; it gradually rises with the changes learned as well as the adaptation to the environment.

The Spectrum of Human Behaviour
Human behaviour is diverse and can be classified into four primary types:

  • Operant Behaviour: This is the very definition for conduct driven by outcomes. This principle clearly illustrates how behaviour trigger a consequence and this consequence returns to either supports or deconstructs the behaviour Likewise, the occurrence of good grades in case of a hard quest will reinforce the tendency of achieving good result.
  • Respondent Behaviour: This is an immediate or spontaneous reaction in response to the given trigger. As an instance I can point to the situation when an uninvited sphere hits you abruptly.
  • Learned Behaviour: This is a collection of the behaviours that we imbibe from our surrounding or through training, for instance learning to ride a bike or getting acquainted with new languages, while also being skilful enough to cook from a new recipe.
  • Innate Behaviour: These are the natural instinct behaviours that are inbuilt to the humans. For example, a reflex of a newborn baby to move his finger in a newborn’s baby reflex to grasp a finger is an inherent ability.

Positive and Negative Behaviours
The behaviour can be divided into two categories – Positive and negative - on its mental health foundation. Pessimistic mindset can hinder our development, bringing down our moods and relationships. On the other hand, positive attitude uplifts our mood and make us feel productive, only creating great relationship. Pointing out to negative behaviours means to reflect on one's actions and deeds. When you uncover something that causes you to feel stress or have guilt, regret or do harm (physically or psychologically) to yourself or to others, you are surely living a negative behaviour.

The recognition of one’s behaviour is the initial step towards its improvement. It is usually driven by a higher level of self-esteem, desire for success and hard work. Here are some strategies:

  • Self-reflection: Frequently reevaluate action consequences of what you do.
  • Goal setting: Encourage attainable and realistic behavioural changes.
  • Seek support: Make no mistake in asking for professional help regardless of who it be from your friends, family or even professionals.
  • Practice mindfulness: Staying with thoughtfulness and carefulness of what you do and how it will affect others will help you.

Behaviour and Health: The Connection
Our behaviour is a major factor that brings health in our life. Indulging in healthy practices like physical exercise in regular routine, a balanced diet, sound sleep, and stress management, one can be able to develop good health in their body and mind which help in strengthening their immunity and longevity. And on the other side, there are bad eating habits such as smoking, alcohol drinks more than limit, poor diet and lack of regular physical exercise which lead up to the category of chronic diseases: heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Similarly, our psychological and behavioural aspects are leading in the health nuances. Reputable behaviours as the building of networks, giving thanks, and being present are absolutely crucial for being mentally healthy, with a possibility of preventing mental health illnesses. On one side, behaviours such as uninterrupted stress, loneliness, and negative thoughts affect negatively our mental health and many times they appear as a disease, (e.g., depression and anxiety.)

In the last but not the least, comprehending and controlling the self is very needful for one's entire life. Through the implementation of favourable and alienation of unwanted patterns we can accomplish notable improvements of our life standards and give a chance to build up a healthier future. Remember, your behaviour is an ultimate tool for making your health and happiness. Use it wisely!

Similarly, I kindly ask my friends to participate in this challenge @vikthor, @gsiscolors, @genealet1 .
