Good afternoon from Nigeria my fellow awesome steemians. Happy Sunday to you all. Hope you're having a great Sunday? And hope you're also having a great day as well?

It's a delight to share my knowledge with the great steemians in the HEALTHY STEEM community on the theme;

You must never forget that it is important that you pay attention to your bone health, and make sure they are healthy, if not lack of proper bone health can make you get old fast.


WHAT DO YOU UNDERSTAND BY MEANS OF BONE HEALTH?

When we talk about bone health we talk about activities, habits, ways, just everything about how keep your bone healthy. Like I said earlier improper bone health can cause serious problem later in your, it can even go as far as making you not enjoy you old age.


Now in other to keep your bone healthy you need to keep up a sufficient amount of calcium in your body strong and healthy and also you need vitamin D to help your body absorb and retain calcium. Poor bone health in most cases is known to cause conditions such as rickets and osteoporosis and even increase your risk of breaking your bone from a fall later in life.


WHAT ARE THE KEY FACTORS AND TIPS IN MAINTAINANCE OF BONE HEALTH?

Some very healthy to increase bone health includes;

  • Increase your intake of calcium in your daily diet; calcium is one major route to an healthy bone, so taking more of it will make you have strong bones.

  • Consume more of vitamin D as well; vitamin D helps to absorb more calcium in the body, there by making it more effective in your body.

  • Exercise Often; Exercise is a very effective way to strengthen your and keep them healthy even at hold age.


FOODS THAT HELP TO KEEP BONE HEALTH

Some foods that help to keep bone health includes;

  • Dairy foods like; milk, cheese.

  • Vegetables foods like; broccoli, cabbage and okra, but not spinach.

  • Soya beans.

  • Tofu

  • Plant-based drinks; such as soya drink with added calcium

  • Nuts.

  • Bread and anything made with fortified flour

  • Fish where you eat the bones, such as sardines and pilchards

And so on the list goes on and on, and this is just a few.
