Is Monkey Pox Bacteria Or Viral?

Well according to the World Health Organisation(WHO) Monkey Pox is characterized as a virus. Mpox (monkeypox) has been studied to be illness on the skin caused by the monkeypox virus. It is a contract able disease causing infection that can spread from one person to another and in some cases it can be gotten from one's environment and surroundings by things and surfaces that have come in contact with a person who has mpox.

After constant research and study from past outbreaks this virus is know to first develop on the body with a skin rash mostly starting from the face then spreading vastly all round the body that last almost for 2–4 weeks and follows with the likes of illnesses such as fever, frequent headaches, muscle aches, back pain, low energy, and flu-like symptoms. Most people are said to sometimes usually have between 10 and 150 pox-like bumps on their skin.

Is Monkey Pox Curable, Can it be Treated?

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO)there currently there is no approved antiviral treatments nor diagnosis for mpox. If overpowered with such ailment, your health specialist provider may just prescribe drugs like cidofovir or tecovirimat, as is recommended and approved by the WHO for now. These drugs are also capable of treating other viral infections, like smallpox, but there have still been needs for researchers to study more about how well they can work for mpox.

But the drug Tecovirimat (TPOXX) in particular is mostly prescribed for people that already have severe mpox or people who are prone to getting severely ill with this virus. The drug has been said to only be able to reduce the amount of the virus in ones body. It may also help fight off severe mpox disease that affects the eyes, mouth, throat, genitals(in women), and anus (the butthole).

IN CONCLUSION

Before I take my exit I would like to put it out that to everyone that proper personal hygiene is one major tool to fight of this disease, and also cleanliness and neatness of ones environment is very necessary seeing that this virus is contractable in our environment.
