Hello Everyone!

Firstly, I would like to thank @Healthy Steem Community for organizing such a great challenge and contest posts every now and then. Your contest ideas help and increase awareness of the health of every user and reader, which is needed in today’s time.

Now, let’s begin with the challenge post.

Create a parasite, you can use colored pencils, things you have at home, paint, brushes, or even mobile drawing applications. (show us step by step)

I’m sharing my artwork below, as mentioned in the rules of the post.

Materials used:

Paper
Pencil
Eraser
Black Micron Pen 01
Black Micron Pen 03

Step 1: First, I roughly sketched the outline of the man’s head and the parasite coming out of his head with a pencil.

Step 2: Using micron Pen 03, I drew the final outline of the man's head and tried to do shading to bring depth to the artwork.

Step 3: Using Micron Pen 03, I outlined the parasite coming out of the brain, and using Micron Pen 01, I did the detailing of the parasite. And, the outcome of the artwork is below.

Tell us what led you to choose that parasite. Outstanding details. (Be as original and creative as possible)

The “negativity” in today's world led me to create this parasite. In this artwork “negative brain” or say “ negativity” is the parasite that is eating us humans slowly and gradually.

Nowadays, everyone is comparing themselves to others, especially on social media. People start comparing their real lives with the reel life of social media influencers and start thinking negatively about themselves. Like, everyone is traveling and I am working 9-5, everyone has clear and glowing skin, everyone is making money and, I am hardly earning 20k, all such stuff occupies our heads all the time.

Negativity is nothing but a parasite in our mind that is eating our brain day by day gradually, and we don’t even realize it. Once this parasite eats our whole brain, people start suffering from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and other mental health issues. Negativity is the root cause of all mental health problems, that consume our brains and make us feel dead inside.

This was all about today's challenge post. Feel free to share your views and thoughts in the comment section.

Lastly, I would like to invite @dexsyluz, @edgargonzalez and @enamul17 to participate in this creative challenge.

I am simply touched by this. Negativity parasite is what eats up human brain, so we can say that negativity parasites feed on their host (human brain) to survive and they feed mostly on comparison, inferiority complex, to give us the diseases called depression, anxiety, stress and others.
