Monkey pox is bacterial or viral?

Monkey pox is a viral disease that is caused by the monkey pox virus that belongs to the orthopoxvirus genus in the family of Poxviridae. It is realted to the variola virus which causes smallpox and is characterized by symptoms similar to smallpox but generally milder.

Monkeypox primarily occurs in central and westren Africa that transmitted to women's throw close contact with infected animals such as rodents and primates or through direct contact with bodeily fluids or throw the droplets of infected individual. The virus can cause fever headache muscle aches and rashes that evolves from muscles to the pustules before crusting over and healing.

What are primary symptoms of monkey pox appears

The primary symptoms of monkeypox include:

1. Fever
2. Headache
3. Muscle aches
4. Backache
5. Swollen lymph nodes
6. Chills
7. Exhaustion

A few days after the initial symptoms a rash develops and the rash goals throw several stages starting through a flat red spots then becoming raised bumps.Then fluid-filled blisters and finally the formation of scabs starts. The rash ofter starts on the face and then spread to other parts of body..

Is monkey pox curable and if yes then how?

Monkey pox does not have a specific cure but it is a generally self limiting disease means that it can be resolved without the treatment however there are some preventive measures that can help to prevent the complications.

• Pain relief: Using the fever medicine and pain it leaves help to control the fever.The medicine like acetaaminophen or ibuprofen.

• Hydration: it is necessary to ensure educate fluid intake to prevent dehydration.

• Antiviral medications: in some cases there is also need of some anti-virus drugs that can help to recover from this disease.

• Vaccination: The smallpox vaccine which is effective against monkeypox can also be used and may be given to people who have been severly attacked by the virus.

While there is no specific cure medical cure focuses on relieving symptoms can support immune systems to fight against the infection.
