In my own understanding and the experience I had. I think heat rash is a common rash that happens in the skin that show when you are hot or have sweat a lot.
When it happens to the body it makes the part of the skin sting due to overheating.
Heat rash itches a lot but is not that dangerous at all, it can move out of the body without treatment.
Heat rash can happen to anyone, but mostly commonly happens to babies and young children.
I normally have heat rash on my body especially during heat period.
I have this skin that get hot easily, I can say I sweat a lot, when the heat rash comes I will apply medicinal power not baking soda, the rash will just clear and go.

Causes of heat rash are high temperature and humidity, sweating a lot , wearing tight or synthetic black coloured clothes.
It can also cause by bacteria in the skin, also some of our creams, soaps can cause heat rash, applying thick, harsh lotions and product on our skin can cause heat rash.

Maybe heat rash has a especially medication or treatment, but I know some common treatment a person suffering from heat rash can receive.
Here are some treatments a person suffering from heat rash can receive.

• Applying of medicinal power on the affect skin or part of the body, someone suffering from heat rash can also apply baking soda in the affect skin, it helps to reduce itching in the affect place.

• Keep your skin dry and cool using fan or natural air. Avoid rubbing or using creams at that moment.

•Take enough water and stay hydrated.

• Avoid using harsh soap and lotions or any product that may worsen or further the heat rash.

• Heat rash is not infectious, but you find it more infectious you can use antibiotics and ointments on the affect area.

Yes, heat rash can make a person bed ridden, due to the itching, severe pain, swollen and painful skin. it can make you difficult to move or perform daily activities.
Imagine feeling severe pain or itching in any part of your body it will make you feel discomfort and can't be able to do your daily activities.

I remember the last time I had heat rash ,I rubbed power all over my body, went inside and laid on the bed ,I could do any thing because of the itching and pains.
my elder sister was the one doing everything she was even pitying me.
