On any ordinary day, we wake up and do all our work without any implexion. The routine continues until someday we are subjected to any ill condition of physical or mental state. This is the day in which we realize good luck with respect to our health.

We enjoy this precious blessing without any extra charges. But if we don't value it, it definitely costs in the future. So everyone must try to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to cope with daily struggles and to fulfill duties.

What small changes have you made to improve your overall health?

I'm pensively attentive about my healthy routine because of some minor but continuous problems. The first thing is quitting soft drinks. These are very captivating toxics because of the amount of sugar, caffeine, preservatives and colouring agents.

In developing countries like Pakistan, companies use banned food chemicals(some are carcinogenic) in these drinks because no one notices it or regulations it.

The next thing is to prefer veggies over fruits mostly. The reason behind it is that vegetables have more nutrients in 100 calories than fruits. Specifically, the vegetables are more enriched in micronutrients which are essential for the overall body's wellbeing.

What are your favourite ways to stay active and incorporate exercise into your daily routine?

Yoga is my all time favorite activity to stay active and healthy. Initially, I started it from 15 minutes with some very basic poses like mountain pose, tree pose, balasaga, prednisone, chair pose etc. And then I dragged the time upto 30 minutes with some new poses.

How do you manage stress and find balance in your busy life?

Stress management is a very challenging task for people like me who are lazy in real life. Mostly I do the difficult tasks in the first half of the day. For balancing the things, I do basic work like ironing clothes, arrangements of house hold in my free time. Difficult and prolonged tasks are divided into many small parts and then regularly do these.

How important is nutrition to you and how do you make healthy eating choices?

We are what we eat. So nutrition must be prioritized over any other qualities, like flavor and presentation.

Canned and packed food items must be fully removed from lives. Like I replace soft drinks with fresh milk, package oil and ghee with homemade butter and olive oil, for munching packed chips and biscuits replaced by dry fruits.
