It's me @mubashara from Pakistan. How are you I hope everyone is doing great. Today I'm going to be a part of this amazing contest which is organized by @khursheedanwar in healthy steem community. And here is my entry for this contest. I hope you will like it.

What cause you headache primarily in your life?

There is not a particular reason for the headache but some few little reasons that gives me headache so let's get start I'll tell you one by one :

  • The first reason of getting headache is lack of sleep sometimes due to my exam or when I have some work to do I sleep less and this causes me headache.

  • Dehydration is also play a major rule in headache for me because when I forgot to take my water bottle along with me in my University then my headache starts.

  • Sometimes headache also starts when I have stiff muscles of my head and neck it causes tension and which also causes migraine and it also trigger with different things.

  • Stress also causes headache and it is a primary reason among the population.

Now I wanted to mention some things that also trigger headache including certain smell of foods some bright lights or poor posture and having restless situations.

What you do personally to get relief from headache?

As a doctor I adopt a few of these things to get relief from headache:

Rest

1- Rest play important role I take a break from my work and go to work white and dark room and off all the lights and then deeply breathe and lay down and have rest for a while this is like a magic for me and my headache goes within minutes.

Stay Hydrated

2-Second thing I opt is to be stay hydrated I take a water bottle along with me so that I will remain fresh.

Heating Pad

3-Sometimes when my neck muscles are very stiff I apply heating pad on my neck so that my muscles blood flow increases and then my headache relief if it is due to the muscle stiffness.

Medications

4- When nothing works for me and headache is weird sometimes then I go for the medications and follow it according to the recommended dose.

Stay away from triggers

5-Also, I tried to stay away from all the things that triggers me including all that pungent smell bright lights and smell of certain foods so that my headache will not trigger me.

Head and Neach Massage

6-Sometimes at weekends I also go for the massage of my head and neck with a oil this helps me to reduce all my stress and causes relaxation ultimately it relief from the headache too.
