Warmest greetings to my lovely steemians all over the world, I would love to use this opportunity to enlightened u guys on definition, causes,signs & symptoms, treatment and prevention of malaria..

How do people get Malaria, mention 5 things we can do to stop it?

Malaria known as plasmodium parasite is contracted through mosquito specifically from a female mosquito called anopheles mosquito when been bitten by them and is of different species such as falciparum plasmodium, plasmodium malariae, plasmodium vivax, plasmodium ovale and last but not the least is plasmodium knowlesi.but most common one among them is the plasmodium falciparum.

Five things to prevent malaria are as follows:

1. Used of long lasting insecticide treated nets: sleeping always under treated mosquito nets reduces a person from been infected with the plasmodium parasite .
2. Use of insecticide in the house to kill the existing mosquitoes.
3. Clearing of out growing bushes in our environments to prevent breeding of mosquitoes around.
4. Providing drainage pattern to drained out all the dirty waters.
5. Treatment with antimalarial drugs when necessary.

Give some signs of Malaria, and why is it important to find it early?

Signs of malaria are as follows:

1 Chill or shivering
2.Nausea and vomiting
3.Weakness of body
4.Loss of appetite
5.Headache.

It's important to realize the causes of the symptoms in oder to go about the treatment and prevents further destructions to the body systems.

How does Malaria affect communities, and what can we do to fight it?

People with low socio economic status are more at risk of malaria parasites due to the environments, and the kind of Houses they find themselves in.

Climax change also contributes to the rate of mosquitoes parasites such as raining season. Mosquitoes tends to survive more in a wet or watering environments by causing high rate of malaria infections at a particular community due to out grown bushes and bad drainage pattern.

1. By keeping our environments and surrounding clean
2. Using of good draining pattern.
3. Always sleeping under treated mosquitoes nets.
4. Eating balance diet in order to boost our immune and prevents anemia because plasmodium parasite has more more effect on red blood cells ( hemoglobin).

Why are mosquitoes linked to Malaria, and how can we control them to stop the disease?

Mosquitoes is linked to malaria because is been cause by a plasmodium infection which invade the red blood cells and causes damaged and shortage of the hemoglobins and causes anemia and term as malaria parasites.
By maintaining high quality hygiene
Used of insecticide and clearing of bushes around.

How has treating and preventing Malaria changed, and what problems are we still facing in getting rid of it?

Problems associated with prevention and and treatment of malaria are:

1. High cost of antimalarial drugs and insecticide
2. Inadequate free supply of mosquitoes net by the governments
3. Poor drainage system.
