Blood test are procedures carried out at the lab to detect the working conditions of the body parts such as the heart, the liver, the kidney, the thyroid generally organs.
Blood test gives a doctor a clear picture of a patient overall health and helps determine the patients immune system strength, monitor chronic conditions, diagnose different diseases and access the organ function.

Regular blood testing is a good and important means to always track the physical we have been of the body. One undergoes a blood test in certain cases as;

• during annual physical exams(CBC)

• at risk of a health condition

• having symptoms

• pregnancy

• before surgery

1.) Diagnosing disease: when a blood test is done at the lab, it helps to diagnose conditions in the body like heart disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cancer, etc.

2.) Checking for anaemia: iron deficiency anaemia can be diagnosed when a blood test is carried out on a patient.

3.) Checking organ function: to determine how well body organs like liver, kidney, heart, thyroid are working, blood test is done at the lab.
