Health entails a lot starting from your mental, physical and social well-being along with your spiritual health and dealing with infirmities and diseases. One of the most important thing in your life is your health, so it's important also to care for your health to avoid illness.

What small changes have you made to improve your overall health?

Now, good health is not just defined by the absence of diseases or illness, it involves getting regular exercise, eating a balanced diet, getting plenty rest and avoiding drugs.

The changes I've made in my life to improve my overall health are;
• Trying my best to exercise at least three times in a week, it happens that I do indoor workout most times, then on weekends, I join others at an open space.

• I also limit my food intake and do incorporate vegetables in my meal.

How have you prioritized taking care of yourself physically and mentally?

Mentally, I do read my bible most evenings when I'm done with all my chores and also I'm a lover of good soul music, this has helped me mentally alot. I just let the music sink into my soul and I also try to get enough rest for my body.

Physically, I do workout in the morning and less in the evenings, there are days I just get tired from the days work, I just rest from it but use music to console myself.

What are your favourite ways to stay active and incorporate exercise into your daily routine?

I am a lover of exercise, I do not take play out of it. It's fun getting to push yourself to some limit, even without any body motivating you. I get up in the morning and all I want to do is workout and sweat, that joy you get when you see the sweat and you know you're burning some calories.

I like to skip, do jumping jacks, I've tried to do push up but cant successfully do one but I still try, I do planks too, wall sits, crunches, etc. When I decide to join others, I use my headset to listen to music and get to where they are.

How do you manage stress and find balance in your busy life?

What has helped me so far in finding balance in life and managing stress is swimming. This alone is soul refreshing. I get to the water, I don't know how to really swim but I try. I can also float but just at the pool.

I do enjoy swimming with family and friends too, because we can play inside the water too. The merging of myself inside the water gives me peace it self.

How important is nutrition to you and how do you make healthy eating choices?

I'm one person that takes what I consume seriously into consideration, because I'm trying to burn calories when I notice I'm about taking in a lot of it. Like we know, it's very easy to gain weight, but very difficult to lose it. What I do is, most times, I just go on all fruits.

Asides all fruits, there are days I do junk too but I must work it out the next day and I also try not to eat late. I also have a portion of food I take, I don't go beyond that. And I drink water too, that helps me stay full but has its own disadvantage like urinating all the time but it still very good.

We all have to keep ourselves active and healthy to care for our health. I would like to invite @josepha, @zekanem and @sualeha to join this contest, thank you.

Hey dear so continue priotising our physicaly mentally and spirituall health so to the small changes can to the lead to big improvements. Best of luck dear..

Great that's true when you take in a lot of calories you need to burn through exercise.

I find your writing very interesting, you have shown how you have practically gotten yourself involve in your healthy by swimming, soul music is a nice one but I don't really know much of it even though I know the founder of soul music which is James Brown but the soundtracks is what I am familiar with, maybe if you could drop a lyrics and where to download, I may try out some.

It actually funny that you can't complete a single push up but they are other option you can try out in the gim with some training kits. I love your dumbbell but it look small. Goodluck, it has reflected in your body that you prioritise your health.
