Hello friends , I will be your health speaker today, I'm not a certified health practitioner but I have little knowledge about health. Come with me as I share my knowledge on this week's engagement challenge topic. The sub questions below is given as our guide .

👩 What is the medical process behind aging and from which age it actually starts?

Aging is an inevitable phenomenon that every living thing must undergo. When it comes to human body the more we grow we develop cells that can fight some common diseases but when theses cells starts deteriorating we will start having aging signs like wrinkles and fine lines accompanied with joints pains.

Most people starts as early as 30 to notice the aging signs. So we can practically start preparing for aging when we are hitting close 30 years.

👩 Are you afraid of becoming older and if yes then what are the challenges of aging that are making you afraid from getting older?

Old age comes with a lot of challenges, to be frank I'm afraid of becoming older, when I reason the things that older people pass through I keep wishing to be forever young . Some of those challenges are.

  • Eye problem. I have seen so many older people suffering from this problem because of old age. Though is not every old person that suffers from this but older people are at risk of eye problems.
  • Lesser strength. This is my fear of getting older, because I wouldn't have that much strength to do work like I used to.
  • Dependent. I like doing things myself when I get older I would have to depend on people for certain some things.

Oooh growing old is fearful, may I grow in good health so that I can enjoy every stage of it in peace.

👩 Write any three nutritional items that can preventing aging?

  • blue berries. Older people suffer from sagging skin , eating blueberries helps to tighten those worn-out cells thereby making it firm.

  • Avocados 🥑. This is another nutritional item that can help older people to regain those detoerating cells.

  • Sweet potatoes. This item is very rich ,it contains vitamin that flights aging.

👩 Write any three exercises that can makes you looking young even in older age?

The power of exercise can not be overemphasized . Here are some practical examples of exercises that can make us look younger even in old age.

  • squatting. This type of exercise helps to balance our posture, during this workout all the body parts are involved.

  • Walking. Taking a walk in the early hours of the morning and after sundown is also good for the body.

  • Jogging. For the benefits of the muscles jogging helps a lot. It will straighten those weak veins and help them to do their work effectively.

Science has been trying to make human stay strong, healthy and ever young, but people are still answering the nature call of growing old .

Hello @okere-blessings, hope you are doing alright. Your entry is amazing and I get why you are scared of aging. However, you should know that fear just makes it worse because your mind becomes partially prepared for this journey. I am not scared of aging, however I am concerned about the challenges that comes with it, so I think we all should see it that way. Hearing Loss and losing sight are my most concerned challenges. Jogging, walking and squatting are all great exercises to keep fit. I think I also listed most of this points on my entry.

I agree with you that old age comes with a lot of challenges, but you know what? We can overcome challenges. The most important thing is to embrace them and make the most of them. To fight them and to be scared of them is not going to help, although it is easier said than done.

Aging is a natural and inescapable phenomenon that happens to people who are advanced in age. When the skin loses its elasticity and the bones begin to wear off, then aging has begin. To some people, It is an added advantage but it is a suffering period for other. This relied on how your adulthood was. You completely nailed down every points mentioned. Good luck on your post.

When cells that are supposed to fight disease in our body gets weak, definitely old age has begun. Sometimes sickness causes our cells to be weak and dead.
You don't need to be afraid about old age. You only need to start now and prepare for it, knowing that it will come and with challenges.
Living your best life with people matters a lot. At old age, you will need this same people to help you when your muscles are weak. No matter how science with invent things, they cant stop old age. Nice write up. Good luck to you
