Eye indeed is one of the very delicate parts of the body that needs to be cared for. Once you loose your sight you begin to experience a different life style and difficulty in doing many things for yourself. It is better you were born blind than to become blind after you have grown up, it can be very frustrating in life.
To care for my eye, I eat food rich in vitamin A and yeast. These foods help in nourishing the eye. Such foods are red vegetable oil, vegetable oil, egg, beans cowpeas, fresh palm wine is rich in yeast and it is very good for the eye.
I do not use sun glasses when working under the sun without being prescribe by the doctor. I feel that any glasses worn that is not prescribed by the doctor is dangerous to the eye. Since I do not have eye pains or problems I do not meet ophthalmologist for treatment.
I do not strain my eye in the dark as this is dangerous to the eye. I do not also increase my phone's brightness beyond my eye capacity to sight as too much brightness is dangerous to the eye. I adjust my eyes appropriately to fit my environment. Whenever I have eye problem I go to hospital to see Ophthalmologist. At night I take enough sleep to relax the muscles of my eyes.
I will advise my steemit friends to visit opthalmologists even when they need sun glasses to shield their eyes from the sun ray. Wearing any from the market can be very dangerous. Thank you
