Some of the basic four points that I know about colour blindness are;
- The number one interesting fact about colour blindness is the fact that blue and yellow 🟡 colour blinded people who only see shades of gray are very rare globally
- Red and green 💚 colour blinded people are the most common ones to find with up to 99% globally
- Red and green colour blindness is a type that is being passed down from a mother to the child through the X-chromosome
- And it is estimated that scientifically there are over 300 million people suffering from colour blindness globally

They are so many causes of colour blindness amongst people and amongst all of them we are going to mention only few which are;
- One of the most important causes of colour blindness that should be noted is medicine, some medicine like Plaquenil can lead to colour blindness
- Another causes of colour blindness is eye or brain injury as a result of detachment of the retina due to tumor or accident
- And lastly most people suffering from colour blindness actually inherited it as most common colour blindness deficiency are genetic in nature

Studies shows that colour blindness though it affects the eye by limiting it from certain capabilities that has to do with colour identification but trust me it certainly do not lead to any other severe case like permanent loss of vision.
People with colour blindness can't distinguishe between shades of blue and yellow likewise red and green but it doesn't affect eye sight or should I say that it doesn't affect our vision not in any way.
