What is Heart Attack?

Due to today's busy lifestyle, habits like irregular eating habits, lack of sleep, junk food, smoking, and alcohol consumption are increasing the risk of heart disease among the youth. Myocardial infarction is commonly known as a heart attack. This occurs when a part of the heart muscle does not get enough blood. According to the US-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart attack can be caused by the sudden narrowing of the coronary arteries. Which can obstruct the blood flow to the heart muscle. This results in a heart attack.

What are the three symptoms of heart attack explain it.

Warning signs may vary depending on whether the attack is mild or severe. Also, symptoms may vary from person to person.

1. Uncomfortable pressure, pain, tightness, heaviness, or squeezing in the center of the chest,

2. Chest pain or discomfort spreading from the chest to the jaw, neck, arm, shoulder, or back

3. Feeling weak and light-headed (dizziness), shortness of breath, sweating, and nausea.

How does smoking affect heart attacks?

Now boys and girls are smoking from a very early age. Because of smoking, the possibility of heart disease is increasing. Several studies have shown that smoking is responsible for heart disease. Smoking raises the heart rate, thickens the main arteries in many cases, and has a combined effect on the heart.

The nicotine contained in cigarettes is very harmful to the body. Smoking accounts for 15 percent of all heart disease deaths worldwide each year. Cigarettes are also responsible for brain stroke, heart attack, and blood clots in the brain, experts say.

On the night of December 18, 2017, my father was alone at home. We all went to a party. Suddenly, my father felt unwell, so he called the doorman of the house and asked him to call us. And he asked him to take him to the hospital. After receiving my small news, an ambulance took him to the hospital. When he was taken to the emergency room, he was admitted to the ICU for observation and it was reported that his heart was 70% blocked. He had to have 2 rings inserted in his heart. Then he was treated. By the grace of God, he survived. We had spent a very terrible few days, Alhamdulillah now my father is very healthy.
