My Dental care routine includes the following
Brushing |
---|
I always brush my teeth twice a day which is in the morning and at night before going to bed.
I change my toothbrush after three months of usage.
To brush my teeth, I do so in a circular motion, making sure that I brush all the surfaces including front, back and chewing surfaces.
teeth and finally, I brush my tongue and then the root of my mouth.

I use fluoride toothpaste to brush my teeth.
I always make use of soft-bristled toothpaste inorder not to injure my gum while brushing.

- I always drink plenty of water in order to aid rinse away bacteria that can accumulate in the teeth from food particles.

I also eat plenty of fruits and Vegetables because they're ideal for a healthy teeth.

I visit my dentist once in six months for teeth checkups.

Other tips to observe for a healthy teeth
- Reduce intake of Sugary food
According to research, sugary food contains sucrose, Glucose and fructose which can be converted to acid by bacteria in the month thereby leading to tooth decay.
- Hard object
Avoid biting or chewing strong objects which can cause harm to the teeth.
- Month guard
Always wear mouth guard while playing sports in order to shield your teeth from harm.

- Tooth Decay
Neglecting Dental care can cause plaque which causes tooth decay to pile up in the teeth.
- Gum Infection
Poor oral hygiene can also cause gum disease like bleeding gum, Gingivitis and Periodontitis.
- Bad breath
It can also lead to the growth of bacteria which causes Halitosis thereby making it uncomfortable to socialize with people.
- Tooth loss
Poor oral hygiene can equally lead to tooth loss thereby affecting your smile

Regular teeth brushing helps to remove plaque, a sticky film of bacteria from the teeth and thereby preventing tooth decay.
- Fresh breath
Proper teeth brushing helps to remove bacteria that causes bad breath, thereby leaving the feeling fresh.
- Prevents Gum Disease
It also helps to prevent the risk of gum infection, thereby reducing the risk of tooth loss.
- Boost self confidence
Dental care will give you a healthy teeth and you don't have to worry about talking in the Public or smiling because you know that your breath is fresh!
