🦷 You knew about endodontics and its scope. Could you define it and what its scope is in your own words?

Endodontics is the part of Dentistry which emphasizes on the Morphology, Physiology and Pathology of the Dental pulp and the Periarticular tissues. It's a two Creek Word, "Endo meaning inside and "odont" meaning tooth.

The major Scope of Endodontics includes the following.

Diagnosis and Treatment
It is charged with Diagnosis, Identification and treatment of Pulp Ailments like Infections and Swelling.
Diagnosis and Treatment of root Canal
It is also charged with the function of treatment, cleaning and filling of root Canal.
Treatment of Dental Injuries
It is also charged with the function of treating Injuries that affects the teeth such as broken teeth, etc.
Diagnosis of Tooth Pain
Endodontist helps to check and identify the cause of tooth ache.

🦷 At some point you have had the experience of undergoing a root canal treatment or endodontic treatment or a family member, what has been your experience or what have they told you?

My uncle has undergone an Endodontics treatment few years back when he had a road accident and broke his teeth. According to him the Procedure was very smooth and painless because he was giving an Anesthesia which made him not to feel any pain and his broken tooth was restored. According to him, he would recommend the treatment to anyone anytime, anyday.

🦷 Technology has advanced a lot. Could you do a little research on endodontics performed with a microscope or with amplifiers and with rotating instruments?

Over the years, they have been lot's of Major advancement in Endodontics especially in the area of Microscope, Amplifiers and rotating instruments and.

Endodontics with Microscope
With the use of Dental Microscope with high resolution, illumination and magnifying power, Endodontist can have maximum view of the root Canal system.
It also helps to see the exact position of the root Canal.
Amplifiers in Endodontics
With the help of Equipment like Ultrasonic Device with vibration, it helps in proper cleaning of affected tissue and also helps in cleaning dirts.
Piezoelectric amplifiers makes use of Piezoelectric crystals to enhance vibrations, thereby helping in Cleaning and shaping.
Rotating instruments in Endodontics
Some rotating instruments like Nickel Titanium helps to clean the root canal thoroughly, thereby reducing the risk of Canal perforation.

Overall this Endodontics Techniques helps to improve treatment and time and thereby helps to get better results.

🦷 If you had your hands on it, would you decide: save a tooth or have it extracted

I would prefer saving a tooth than removing it. The tooth does lots of function, it helps in Biting and chewing food, helps to boost our facial appearance especially when we smile. It also helps to maintain the structure of the face. Extracting the tooth will disrupt all these. Secondly, Extracting a tooth will also cost lots of money.
