How do antibiotics help us fight off infections?

Antibiotics are helpful for us because it fight against infection by killing harmful bacteria. It works in two main ways first killing bacteria and second is stopping it to by multiplying it. These can kill bacteria but not helpful in killing virus. Other antibiotics like levofloxacin, doxicycline, ciprofloxacin kill the cells of bacteria. On other hand antibiotics tetracycline stop to grow bacteria more. This help to body recover faster than natural healing system and stop from spreading.
