Bone health is a condition of the body's bones where the body's muscles are strong enough to properly operate the body's organs and maintain good health. This bone strength depends on several factors. For example: -

  • Maintaining bone density, which is achieved through adequate minerals and calcium.
  • In addition, there are nutritious foods, healthy lifestyles, hormones, etc. If these factors are at the right levels, the bones of the body remain strong. And this is called bone health.

Bone is a very important part of the body. Our body moves on bones. For this reason, maintaining bone health is very important. With age, osteoporosis and fractures cause a lot of damage to the bones. In order to avoid this situation or to maintain bone health in this situation, we have to follow the methods that we can maintain bone health: -

  • We have to make sure that there is no calcium deficiency in the body. For this, we have to include various calcium-rich foods including dairy products and nuts in our daily diet.
  • Vitamin D is very important for us. We have to include vitamin D foods in our diet. For this, we have to include fatty fish and egg yolks in our diet. In addition, we have to come into contact with the naturally available morning sunlight.
  • Protein strengthens our bones, repairs bones, and increases bones. To get protein, we have to eat lean meat, beans, nuts, and dairy foods.
  • Magnesium and phosphorus increase the structure and density of the body's bones. So we have to be careful about foods rich in magnesium and phosphorus. For this, we can take refuge in whole grains, nuts, seeds, and various types of fish.
  • Vitamin K is important for bone health. We get that important vitamin from various types of vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts. So we should keep such foods in our diet.
  • In addition, regular exercise, walking, running, dancing, hiking, etc. help strengthen bones.
  • Also, a life without smoking and alcohol protects us from bone damage.
    By using these tips, we can protect our important bones.

  • Fish and meat should be preferred for protein.
