🏥 What do you understand by free public health?

As a citizen, it is my right to get government health care. Free health care is what everyone wants. By free health care, I mean that during my illness, the government hospitals will give me the necessary treatment without money. If I need any tests, they will be done free of charge. Any advice about my health will be given by the hospital authorities without money. In general, I will get some kind of treatment for my health. No need to allocate money.

🏥Is health in your country a free, semi-free service or do you have to pay to acquire it?

In our country government healthcare is almost free. The reason behind saying almost is that you have to pay to get the service but it is very less. Like, let me give an example. To visit a doctor in a private hospital costs 800-1000 taka. This is a doctor's visit. And If I go to a government hospital, my visit will cost 20 takas. Again, to get any test done in a private hospital, it will cost 1000 taka, if it is too much, the government hospital will charge 300 takes.

Now if I compare the cost of private hospitals and government hospitals then to me government services seem free. Although I have to invest a little money.
However, due to overcrowding in government hospitals, it takes me a long time to get services. Which seems like a waste of time to me.

🏥¿Public hospitals in your country have the medical services and supplies necessary to care for patients?

The medical facilities of the government hospitals of our country are very good. The medical services here are of international standards. The quality of treatment in government hospitals is better than in any private hospital. The equipment kept for the diagnosis of various diseases of the patients is modern and standard. But since the cost of treatment here is very low and good treatment is available, it is so overcrowded that sometimes the doctors, nurses, and staff on duty struggle to handle it.

Government hospitals are not suitable for those who want to be treated in a quiet environment as there is constant noise.
When you think of taking a sick patient, the first thing that comes to your mind is the government hospital. In particular, we have to mention the names of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Sorworthy Hospital, Mid-ford Hospital, Pongu Hospital, and Bangladesh Cardiac Hospital. These are the best government hospitals in the country and the medical facilities are modern level.
