When talking about my neighborhood, there are many vegetables cultivated there, but I am mentioning 2 vegetables from them and they are beans and cabbage.
Many people know these vegetables because they are more or less available in all countries. Green vegetables are full of vitamins and minerals which are essential for our daily intake. Doctors always recommend eating green vegetables instead of meat.
How do these vegetables help our health? |

Vegetables are the best food among foods. As it helps to remove the bad substances from our body, it also plays a significant role in keeping our body healthy as it contains all kinds of vitamins and minerals.
2 vegetables, cabbage and beans, are especially helpful for our health.
🟦 Beans
Beans are a vegetable that is very beneficial for our health. This vegetable contains fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals, which play many roles in good health.
Good source of protein
- Beans are high in protein, which helps in muscle building and rebuilding body cells.
Aids digestion.
- Beans are rich in fiber, which increases digestion, relieves constipation and keeps the stomach healthy.
Keeps the heart healthy.
- Beans contain special potassium and antioxidants, which control blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Boosts immunity.
- Beans contain vitamin C, vitamin A and antioxidants, which increase the ability to resist disease.
Good for bones and teeth.
- Beans contain calcium and magnesium, which increase bone strength and strengthen teeth.
This beans can be eaten as a simple stir-fry, curry, or roast, but it is better not to add too much spice and oil while cooking this bean, it is better to cook this vegetable after washing it first, as it is full of nutrients.

Cabbage is a very beneficial vegetable for our body, it is very beneficial for us as it contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Helps reduce diabetes.
- Cabbage has a low glycemic index, so it keeps blood sugar levels under control.
Controls weight.
- Since it is low in calories and rich in fiber, eating it helps in controlling weight easily.
Keeps bones strong.
- Cabbage contains magnesium, calcium, and vitamin K, which keeps bones very strong and keeps bone structure strong.
Prevents cancer.
- Cabbage contains a compound called glucosinolate, which helps in preventing cancer.
Nutritional value.
- Cabbage contains vitamins C, B6, fiber, and antioxidants, and is low in calories, so it has a lot of nutritional value.
This common cabbage can be eaten with meat, curry, soup, stir-fry, salad, etc. Moreover, since it has a lot of leaves, washing it before cutting it keeps all its nutrients in these leaves.

Veggies are undoubtedly very beneficial for our health and provide essential nutrients that other foods can't offer in the required amounts.
However, making a tasty dish with only veggies can be challenging.
