Digestion first of all is the breakdown of food particles into simpler and smaller units. This means when digestion takes place the food substance is being cut down bit by bit in order for until it is fully digestive and become a waste product.
So the digestive system are the parts of a human body which help in one process in digestion.

Some examples of the digestive systems are.

The Mouth: This is the first stage of digestion in a human being or in a living thing, every substance that is about to go through the process of digestion need to go through the mouth before any other process.

The Teeth: When the food substance is in the mouth the teeth helps to grind the food into smaller units for easier swallowing.

---

Pharynx: This is the digestive organ that is involved in the passage of food from the mouth, it is Y shaped in structure and attached to the end of the mouth and it is also fibromuscular.

Small Intestine:This absorbs most of the food take into the body, though I thought it would have been the large intestine that does that because it is called large but to my greatest suppose it was the small intestine, after taking the food it the distributes it to other part of the body for storage or usage.

Ileum: This is the last part of the small intestine where the bike salts and vitamins are absorbed into blood stream.

The Large Intestine: Thus part produces large amount of gas in the stomach which is needed to be eliminated, I think those gas are what we all bring out as fart. And the gasses are harmful to the human and animal system.

Esophagus: All I know about this is that it distributes food to the human stomach.

The Stomach: This is the part where the food are being stored as I like to. All it a whole, it helps hold food while it is being mixed with the enzymes and this enzymes continue the process of breakdown.

The last but not the least.

The Anus: This is the last process of digestion when the food has under gone digestion it is being removed as a waste product from the Anus.
