Contest: Celebrating our health workers

Good evening to everyone on the Healthy Steem community. I'm so glad to be taking part in my first Contest in this community. I want to specially appreciate @sahmie for the contest that is targeted towards recognizing the importance of health workers so as to properly celebrate them.

Who is a health worker? List out five health workers and what they do.
A health worker is a trained health care professional who works in the health care sector/ field, providing health care to people. They also prevent diseases from spreading, educate on things that boost general health.

Medical Doctors: They basically diagnose the ailment or condition of patients through the available symptoms presented upon their investigation and gives medical advice and prescription.

Registered Nurse

They care for the patient and aid them through the journey of recovery, checking them from time to time to monitor changes, give medications, perform some vital checks amongst other duties.They primarily take care of the patient and see to it that they are comfortable.

Laboratory scientist: They conduct tests based on the investigation of the doctors to provide accurate results which clarifies ailments for proper treatment. Pharmacist: They mainly deal on drug composition and they issue out drugs based on the drug prescription given by the doctor. Midwives: They help with the care of patients throughout the process of childbirth. They see to it that patients in labour and encouraged, they also carry out deliveries.

How important are health workers to us and can we consider them to be super heroes?
Health Workers are important to Us as without them we wouldn't have adequate health care. Let's look at the hospitals and health care centers, it's filled with a whole lot of people with different aliment raging from the least to the most complicated. But these health care workers ensure they are not alone and do their best to make people recover. Hence we can say they are our everyday super heroes. I would state the case of Sebastian Haller of Ivory Coast who got the winner in the AFCON finals, health workers saw to it that he recovered and what a moment he achieved for his nation.

Have you ever personally said "thank you" to a health worker for all the hard work they do?
Yes I have, I treat them with all the respect they deserve and saying thank you to them for every procedure they perform is the least I can do.

Show us a cool and creative way to show your appreciation to health workers in your community

Health workers work so hard. They mostly work so much that they barely have time for themselves. They are the typical examples of public servants as they serve at the front line of health care tirelessly. Health workers in my community can be appreciated by providing them with up to date facilities, they have the heart to work but most times they can not do anything as they usually don't have supplies or don't have the equipment to carry out a test or perform a required procedure.
A way I can show my support for health workers is by joining peaceful protest that infringes on the rights of those who work hard for our health.
