Introduction
Essential Steps for Cleanliness of Teeth
Brushing is the primary initiative for cleanliness of teeth. Brushing twice, after having dinner & before breakfast, with properly shaped & angled brush, & quality paste is required. Slow brushing covering whole teeth area is advised as fast brushing may damage the gums & may not clean inner area.
Mouth should be washed clearly with water after having each meal. Because any food particle attached in the teeth or gums can favor growth of bacteria leading to dental caries.
Flossing is required to remove plaques from regions difficult to clean by brushing.
Excessive sweet meals should be avoided because sugars in sweets provide environment for bacterial growth that damage teeth.
Foods harmful for teeth health
Sweets & candies : Sugars of sweets & candies get stuck on teeth & gums. Bacteria can quickly form films or plaques on these substrates & thus cause teeth decay & diseases. So these kind of foods should be avoided as much as possible, & obviously thorough washing of mouth is needed to remove sugar coating the teeth.
Sour foods: Sour foods like lemon, pickles are bad for teeth health. These are sour because of their acidic nature that cause dental decay by damaging teeth enamel that is the outer covering of teeth.
Soft drinks: Many soft drinks contain excessive sugars that have same effect as sweets.

Yes. I brush teeth with salt after dinner. Salt can balance the pH in mouth by reducing acid portion in mouth. Thus bacterial growth is retarded.

Suggession to Maintain Healthy Teeth
- Brush twice regularly
- Avoid excessive sweets & candies
- Aware of any blackening of teeth
- Don't ignore teeth problems & take dentist's advice
- Avoid excessive sour foods.
- Eat foods that promote saliva production. For instance fiber-rich fruits & vegetables, sugar-free chewing gum.

Bien la sal común se utilizan hace mucho tiempo como medio para cepillarse los diente pero la sal desgasta el esmalte dental por el tamaño de su molecula es muy abrasiva además en niños no es recomendable por que la sal común contiene flúor usado mucho puede causar fluorosis en el esmalte dental y es una condición que no desaparece, es una malformación del esmalte, cepillar con cremas dentales no con sal es mi recomendación soy odontologa si quieres puedes preguntar y yo te responderé con mucho gusto
