Water: My View, Myself Wk36.

Hi steemians, good day everyone. It's my pleasure to be participating in this contest regarding water. I'm pleased to give my views and thoughts about the most essential fluid in the body.

Water as we all is a colorless, odourless and tasteless liquid. It is liquid substance that has no taste or color. It originates from the clouds to form rain on earth. Water has various sources which includes streams, lakes, rivers, ponds, seas and many others. We can say that without water there is no life just as we can't breathe without air.

In our environment today all of us use water for our daily activities at home. We use water for washing, cleaning, cooking, bathing and so many other activities. Without water we all will be very distressed on earth. Most people upon getting back from work, use water for refreshing themselves through taking a bath. You could agree with me that without water, all of us would be very dirty, as well as uncomfortable with ourselves.

Regarding our health, water helps to keep us hydrated at all times. Most times a person who is ill and taken to the hospital will be asked to drink plenty of water to be hydrated, showing how important water is to every humans aliveon earth. Most people drink water after eating to aid in digestion.

Digestion is a very essential process in the human body. Without a food being digested, a person could get sick which could lead to
some health complicationss. So drinking water is a very important aspect of every humans life on earth.

Also, as we all know water aids in the growth of plants. When one plants, he or she makes it a point to water the plants, to enable it's growth and development. Watering the plant ensures the plants rapid growth and development without deficiency of any sort. Planting during the rainy season is most preferred among many farmers as a result of the availability of rain water to water their crops.

Water is also a very important means of transportation. With the use of ships, large goods are being exported on water. It would have been very impossible to transport large and bulky goods by road or by air. So travelling large and bulky goods over long distances has been made possible through the availability of water.

Personally, if water had a color I will be very irritated. Drinking something that's tasteless and bland will be a very weird thing for me. Imagine drinking a juice with very plenty water added to it will be a bad experience. There will be no sweetness because of the much water added to it. So drinking water that has color with no taste is equivalent to drinking a tasteless juice.

I recall travelling to my aunt's place. There i, my aunties, and siblings decided to go to a stream nearby in that community. On reaching there we decided to wash some clothes and bath as well. I was a young girl back then. Seeing other children dip themselves and swimming with so much saw made me very curious to try as well.

My curiosity led to me dipping myself inside the water. I had no experience so when I had dipped myself inside the water, the water entered inside my ears and mouth, I almost drowned. My aunties were alarmed and came to my aid. My siblings really laughed at me. After I came out of the water, I realized I couldn't hear properly, my ear was filled with water. I was so sad over that fact, but my Grandma assured me that very soon I'll be able to hear properly again, which happened 3 days after.

Since then I got very careful with water, even while drinking, I make sure to drink slowly and carefully so as not to choke on the water I am drinking. I got very wary of the water when I got to beaches as well, being very careful and protective of myself when I'm near the water.
