Malaria is one of the tropical sickness that has terrorized the world for the past years. The war against this sickness has never been weakened as people find cure to it in their various researches. In the thinking of many, people think that mosquitoes are the source of this deadly sickness. In this article, let’s dig deep about this disease.

Malaria is gotten from the causative agent which is female anopheles’ mosquito.
5 things to do for prevention of this disease include:

  • Taking Anti-malarial drug: this drug is an efficient way to prevent malaria case. Preventing it is always better than curing that disease.
  • Taking natural herbs: Another efficient way is by taking natural herbs or leaves for its prevention. In my place, a mixture of moringa leaves and lemon grass cooked into a concoction can help as a preventing agent.
  • Using treated mosquito net
  • Preventing the circulation of mosquito by closing doors in the evening
  • Destroying the lairs of mosquito hatching

How do people get malaria, mention 5 things we can do to stop it?

The funny thing about malaria is that it doesn’t happens spontaneously. Rather, it must show some signs before it’s main arrival. Here are some signs to detect when one is infected with malaria pathogen:

  • Loss of appetite
  • Excessive salivation
  • Yellowish urine
  • General body weakness, etc.

The importance of finding and treating it is because prevention is better than cure. If one finds out about a particular sickness and treat it accordingly, it will save time, energy and money than curing it yourself.

Signs of malaria and why is it important to find it early

Malaria affect the community by reducing productivity of that place. We all know that before a place move forward, the driving force are the people situated there. So, if malaria pandemic breaks out in a community, the productivity rate of that place will be extremely low.

To fight it, we need to sensitive the people about the dangers of the disease. Then, we also have to them the remedies or prevention measures to eradicate it. By doing this, the population will have an upper hand against malaria.

How does malaria affect communities and what can we do to fight it?

The fact is that not all mosquito causes malaria. It’s only the mosquito that harbor plasmodium which is the malaria causal agent. This type of mosquito is the female anopheles’ mosquito. To prevent this creature, perform this act:

  • Sleep under a treated mosquito net
  • Drain all stagnant water near you
  • Clear bushes near you to prevent their hatching or multiplication
Why are mosquito linked to malaria and how can we control them to stop the disease?

Treating or preventing malaria has some significant changes over the years. In the time of our grandparents or ancestors, it was treated with herbs, leaves and roots mixed into a concoction. But it is now treated with manmade drugs like anti-malarial drugs. The issue we are facing currently is ignorance from the people and fake drugs distributed in the world market.

I invite @bossj23, @hahdie and @johnmitchel to this contest.

How has treating and preventing malaria changed and what problems are we still facing in getting rid of it?

Malaria is one disease that can be underated as it comes from a small insect but its effect on our body system is one that shouldn't be experienced by anyone.

Sincerely, like you've said , fake anti-malaria drugs has been in circulation. This has been a menace as it is detrimental to the health of those who take them.

An educative write-up you have here. Well work.
