The world is full of colors and each color has it vibrant effect on everything made for it. But for some people the melody of color is slightly going out of the lane and this is where color blindness comes in.. In this world the vibrant reds and greens can now appear as shades of gray or even together formed in a way we can't comprehend.

Color blindness happen when the eyes lack one or more of the three types of color-sensing cones in the retina, that allows us to see the world in a full spectrum of hues. Color blindness also know as color vision deficiency, affects approximately 1 in 200 women and 1 inn 12 worldwide... lets go deeper....

Write any 4 points that you know about colour blindness.

Types of Color Blindness: There are three main types of color blindness: red-green, blue-yellow, and total color blindness. The most common type is red-green color blindness.

According to my research these are the 4 points you can know about colour blindness
✓ Gender Link: Color blindness is more common in males than in females. This is because the genes that cause color blindness are located on the X chromosome, and males only have one X chromosome while females have two

✓ Color Blindness in Animals: Color blindness isn't just a human condition. Many animals, such as dogs, cats, and horses, can also be color blind. For example, dogs are believed to be red-green color blind.

✓ Color Blindness Can Run in Families: Color blindness is often inherited, which means that if one parent is color blind, there's a chance their child could be color blind too.

✓ Color Blindness Tests: There are a number of tests that can be used to diagnose color blindness. The Ishihara Test is a common one that uses a series of colored dots to test a person's ability to see different colors.

From my own perception and understanding here are they causes of colour blindness

✓ Genetics: Color blindness is often hereditary, meaning that it can be passed down from parents to their children. Mutations or abnormalities in the genes that control color vision can cause color blindness.

✓ Age-Related Macular Degeneration: This is a condition that affects the macula, which is the central part of the retina. As the name suggests, it's more common in older people and can lead to loss of central vision, including color vision.

✓ Diabetes: High blood sugar levels can damage the blood vessels in the retina, which can cause vision problems including color blindness. Diabetic retinopathy, a complication of diabetes, is a leading cause of blindness in adults and can lead to loss of color vision.

They are some causes of color blindness too, such as exposure to certain toxins or drugs, as well as certain diseases that affect the eyes, like glaucoma or cataracts.

Can colour blindness in a severe case be a cause of complete vision loss?(Is it a myth or truth justify)...

With the research I've gone through and understanding about how colour blindness can be in a severe case, color blindness is not a direct cause of complete vision loss. However, if it's caused by a more serious underlying condition, such as age-related macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy, that condition may lead to complete vision loss over time if it's not treated.

For people who have severe color blindness, it may be difficult for them to distinguish between certain colors, which can make certain tasks more challenging. But it's important to remember that people with color blindness can still see and function well, and many have learned to compensate for their condition.

It's important to note that color blindness is actually quite common. In fact, it affects about 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women. There are many famous people who have lived with color blindness, including the painter Claude Monet, the scientist Isaac Newton, and the musicians John Lennon and Stevie Wonder. 🎶

Even though color blindness can make certain tasks more challenging, many people with the condition are able to live full and successful lives.
Myth: People with color blindness can't drive.

Truth justify: Most people with color blindness can drive. While they may have difficulty seeing traffic lights or distinguishing between red and green, they can often compensate by looking for other clues, such as the position of the lights.

Conclusion

Color blindness is a genetic condition that affects the ability to perceive colors. While it can make certain tasks more challenging and may be linked to other vision problems, it's important to remember that color blindness doesn't lead to total blindness, and there are many famous people who have lived with this condition.

Color blindness is a fascinating condition that can be inherited, doesn't just affect men, and doesn't have a cure, but can be managed with certain tools. It's a fascinating topic that reminds us of the incredible variation in human perception.
