On this occasion, I would like to take part in a contest held by @sahmie about Health Matters (15); HYPERHIDROSIS
here is my entry
hyperhidrosis is a medical type of excessive sweating that exceeds human needs to control heat common causes of hyperhidrosis are divided into two primary hyperhidrosis and secondary hyperhidrosis primary hyperhidrosis is usually no clear causes often related to genetic factors this condition usually occur in certain locations such as palm of hands feet face or armpits on the other hand secondary hyperhidrosis are generally caused by other medical conditions such as diabetes or thyroid disease
Hyperhidrosis also have a significant impact on the daily life of sufferers in general Starting from embarrassment, anxiety, to decreasing self-confidence especially if someone has to shake hands or wear clothes that leave sweat stains Hyperhidrosis is also can disrupt physical and performance activities such as shaking hands, difficult to hold stationery or technology devices because hands are always wet
For hyperhidrosis, the first-line treatments involved are special antiperspirants oral medications iontophoresis therapy botulinum toxin (botox) injections surgical procedure: sympathectomy for mild cases sweating is generally effectively controlled by antiperspirants, while use of botox injections can reduce sweating for up to several months or even years, and sympathectomy can provide a good, permanent solution for severe cases, though this procedure does carry the risk of side effects.
lifestyle changes can also help manage symptoms wearing sweat-wicking clothing avoiding spicy foods and maintaining good personal hygiene are steps that can reduce discomfort managing stress with relaxation techniques such as yoga or mediation are also helpful as we often make excessive sweating worse
unfortunately there are many misconceptions about hyperhidrosis some people think that it is just a result of poor hygiene or nervousness when that is not always true hyperhidrosis is a real medical condition and requires proper treatment by increasing understanding about this condition we can help those who experience it feel more accepted and get the care they need
that's my writing On this occasion thank you for those who have read it, hopefully it is useful On this occasion I would like to invite my friends
