Hello friends, it's another opportunity to participate in this beautiful contest by the Steem India. This contest brought me back to the memory lane of my childhood.
Come with me!
My Dear 5-year-old self
I am happy writing this letter to you. You are a bright little girl full of energy and curious to learn.
Today, I will share with you the important lessons I have learnt so far in life. As you grow up, it is good for you keep them in mind and learn from them.
While I was growing up, I experienced bully because of my stature. Being a girl of little stature, children of my age with bigger stature tend to bully and cheat me. I used to feel bad for my small stature but a day came I stopped feeling bad. I began to appreciate the way I am.
Therefore, I must tell you. You must stand your ground. Do not allow others to cheat you or make you feel inferior. You are good enough just the way you are.
You are a smart, intelligent girl. Know that both hard work and honest work pays. And for all hard work & honest work, there is good reward. When you work hard , you will succeed. I always worked hard at my school work, hence, I was one of the best in class. When you do so, your teachers will be proud of you. I disliked cheating in class, assignment, or exam. That is dishonesty. Punishment lies ahead for engaging in dishonesty.
But this is what I want you to understand here: your childhood actions doesn't determine your your success in adulthood. There is need for you to make smart choices and sieze good opportunities as they come your way while you are growing up. Whatever good your hands find to do, do it with all your heart. Don't be too rigid or too scared to take bold steps.
Life itself is a risk after all.

You are very inquisitive, wanting to know things. That is good, but you must understand that we learn in stages. And not every knowledge is needed at one stage of life.
You are a quiet little girl who likes to explore in her space. I learnt that this is good, but you must adjust to socialize with your age group. People will mistake your "being quiet & loving to be alone" for pride.
Therefore, you must work on this area so you don't have problems socializing with people. It is good to mingle with people but there should be limit to everything.
You are a strong girl. Never give up at whatever you set your mind to do. Winners win, winners don't quit. As long as you don't give up on what you desire to do, you will achieve it. You are an Achiever!
You love greeting and honouring elderly people. Never stop. Greet and respect everyone on your path in life. You become lovable by so doing. And people will respect you back.
Always help people. Help your friends, help your mates. It is always good to help others. Remember, what goes around, comes around. When you help, help will come easily for you too.
Don't forget to share too. Share with your friends. Give to people Be a generous giver. Nobody will return with anything they acquire in life. There is love in sharing. There is more blessing in giving.
Understand that things don't happen the way we plan sometimes. Life happens to all. Never blame yourself for heights you haven't reached. Rather, keep working at your goals, trust God and never give up on your dreams.
Finally, embrace your childhood. Enjoy it. Eat well, play well, listen to your parents and your teachers. They are your guide in life. Don't stop saying your little prayers to God that your teacher teaches you. Remember your Bible memory verses. All these bring a happy childhood experiences for you.

Beautiful childhood experiences will have a good impact when they grow up.
No one knows what the future of our children will be. Hopefully, the results of this research can serve as a warning and motivation so that we can raise our children in the best way for their future.
I hope you also have time to comment on my posts. Because I also share the story of 5 years.
