Recently one of friend @sampabiswas tagged me to join this wonderful contest of favorite Summer hobby and here I am going to join this contest as everyone has their different hobby and mine too as I am foodie person, mine is eating mangoes so let start it in details.

Favorite Summer Hobby

---

Summer means vacation for most of the people and thus people like to travel and enjoy their holidays, but mine are little different as mine are eating mangoes. I like summer only because of mangoes, and it comes only in this season, so I'm eagerly waiting for it. This year also it's summer started but still mangoes not come, so I am waiting for it.

Rajapuri Aam Rass

It's being very hot as summer is just started and thus there will be more hot, but I took it as positive way like that soon we started to get eat delicious mangoes as it will lighter mental weight of heat because we will eat Aam Rass. Recently Mangoes coming started to sell from where we buy from last 20-25 years, but It's still begaining so not well and costly too.

There are different types of Mangoes, but we mostly buy Hapus, Kesar and Rajapuri. We had little fear before as got some news that unexpected rain may happen, so it may spoil grown mangoes on tree but good this that it is not happened, so it will come soon at reasonable price. We also store Aam Rass for whole year as it taste remain same like fresh.

The advantage of mangoes is that there is no need of other thing in meal that only Roti and Aam Rass and that's it. It's most delicious and my favorite meal as I not need anything. I will never tire if I get it everyday whole year, infect I will enjoy it a lot. We also make homemade Ice-Cream Hapus mango which is also love to eat in night especially while watching movie or cricket match.

Other Activity In Summer

Mango Slices

Other thing I like most in summer is also get together of family where we 20-25 peoples get together at one place and enjoy with doing different activities like food, games, shopping etc. We make plans for 2-3 days one of family member place but most time we plan at my home because just like me, my family and relatives also foodie and where I live (Surat, Gujarat) also known for food and especially for mango, so they like to come here, and we enjoy together.

When we get together we mostly eat famous things from outside as we not make food at home because we have lots of verity, and thus they would like to eat them all as they have only two-three days, so they also enjoy food since morning to night. I am glad just like my me my relatives also enjoying food as they eat few, but they tried all of them.

Breakfast- They take Khaman which is specialty of my city which you also knew as Dhokla, Patra(makes from leaves), Petis, Locho (Similar like dhokla but softer like grevy), Mangoes.

Simple Lunch

Aam Rass

lunch- Roti, Aam Rass, Dal, Bhat, Matho, Mango Slice, Sev-Tomato Sabji, Buttermilk, Pan.

Panner Pakora & Chutney

Samosa

Collegien Dana

Evening Snack- Panner Pakora, Samosa, Ratala Puri, Collegien Sing, Mango Slice, Bhel, Sweetcorn Dhokla.

Cold Cocoa

Live Ice Cream

Dessert- Cocoa, Ice Cream, Mango Juice

Above are food we generally take as we not take dinner because we take heavy evening snack but this only when they come as not regularly. There are just 10 % items I mentioned because there are many other items too, but we take it differently, and they are speciality of my city. They also come here in summer only for food, as they not get this kind of verity and taste at their place.

After finished all this food activity, we set to play House game which is favorite of us. We all like to play, and we play it till late night around 3 AM as we didn't get how fast time passing as we all enjoy it together a lot. Children in home also enjoy with us which is also good thing, and we do a lot of fun together.

With our nearest we never get to know how time pass so quickly and we all never believe that 3 days pass so quickly. While end of get together we started to make plan of next get together and started to plan what to do there. Though Summer is very hot but when we met our family and relative ones we forget everything, and we live fully life like today is everything. This kind of meet up makes us refresh from routine work and give us change which we needed apart from work.
