CONTEST :IMPORTANCE OF MOTHER IN YOUR LIFE

Good day everyone in this wonderful community. Hope you all are doing fine. This is my first post in this community and also my entry for the contest:"Importance of Mother in your life"

In todays world the importance of mother can not be over emphasised in a child's life. The list is literally endless. I encourage those whose mothers are still alive to cherish them and treat them as their most priced asset because like the popular saying "you'll never know the value of what you have, until you lose it"

The word mother alone is very emotional and comes with a lot of positive memories. My mothers is unarguably the best person in my life, her level of understanding and forgiveness is unmatchable. No matter how bad I offend my mother as a child there is always room for forgiveness so long as I am happy. She put others before herself and that is an attribute of a good mother.

Mother-child relationship is incomparable to anything. Right from inception to birth mothers tend to bond with their children so well. I confide in my mom so well, she is like my pillar when I'm down emotionally. She can tell when I am having issues even without me saying a word. The love my mother had for me is on another level and she can go out of her way to make sure that the family is under check.
Mothers are not only caregivers but they are also breadwinners of the family and children never forget the teachings of their their mothers even in their old age. Even fathers fail to establish the type of relationship mothers have with their children.

The well being of the society is hugely dependent on the mother because the moral values taught by the mother to her children remains with the child forever.
If my mother didn't bring me up the child in the right way, did not teach them the right moral values and had left me to my fate.
It will tell greatly on the society because there will be increase in social vices in the society because probably i will have become wayward, a pick pocket or an armed robber. Directly or indirectly mothers have a large role to play in the development of their society.
Mother is not just any woman. Mother is a title for a responsible woman. Most importantly, my mother played a vital role in determining the attitude and behaviour I display today. This is because of the relationship I had with my mother.

Mothers are emotional backbone of the family because their love is unconditional.
I can never pay back what my mother have done in my life. All I could do was to reciprocate her kind gestures by making her feel special with small and sweet gestures at any slightest opportunities, be it on her birthday, valentines day or mother day.
My mother was my first teachers. The first thing I ever said or knew were taught to me by my mother because of the love she had for me.
Mothers are hope givers. Even in the worse of situations, my mothers still believe that there is hope, see things from the positive point of view and encourage me.

I used to enjoy all the benefits of mother not until September 2020 when death came knocking on the door and claimed the life of my first love.

Ever since that incident life hasn't been the same.
I have to make decisions for myself and peradventure I make a mistake I'll have to encourage myself ,rise up ,pick up my pieces and try again.
Everytime I reminisce on the good time I spent with my mother it opens up wound in my heart. I really wish she is alive today to see the man I'm turning to. I pray God grant her soul eternal rest
