What I'm going to show you now is how to dig a waterway or a river to find a way to get water.

The place you can see in the picture is the river Tulsiganga in Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat district.

River excavation work is going on here,,।

River dredging is very unlikely to cause floods in our country.

And many benefits to the farmers of our country are that the river has water all year round and they are used by the farmers and produce good crops.
River dredging improves the environment and reduces the risk of flooding. It is a good initiative of the government. Poor people fish in the river and row boats.
