How to Give Yourself a Manicure at Home 💅

Today I thought of giving you some tips to do a simple manicure at home. This might not be the type that you used to have at the salon but a simple & easy one to feel elegant.

These are the items you need to have

Warm Water	Brown Sugar
Dettol	Chickpea flour
Lime	Sandalwood
Salt	Yogurt
Shampoo	Olive oil
Nail brush	Nail cutter
Honey	Rosewater
Nail Polish	Topcoat
Basecoat

Step 01

You have to clean your nails first with a polish remover if you wearing an old polish.

Step 02

Take a medium size bowl and add shampoo, salt, and Dettol to it and mix well with lukewarm water. Wash your hands in the water and leave it to warm for a while.

Step 03

Brush the nails and hands thoroughly with a brush for about 05 minutes. Then wash your hands with clean water and pat dry.

Step 04

Add brown sugar, honey, and a pinch of lime and make a paste.

With the help of a slice of tomato slowly rub the skin in a circular motion. This will help to eliminate dead skin cells. Clean scrubbed hands again with water and pat dry.

Step 05

Then massage your hands and fingernails thoroughly using olive oil or sesame oil.

Step 06

Mix yogurt, chickpea flour, white sandalwood powder, lime juice, rose water, and make a pack.

Then apply it well on your hands with the help of a brush. Let it be on your hand for 20mins and wash it out. Gently pat dry.

Step 07

Apply some moisturizing cream all over the hands to hydrate and replenish skin.

Step 08

Cut the unnecessarily grown nails into the desired shape.

Step 09

For the protection of your nails apply a base coat and wait for two minutes until it dry.

Step 10

According to your choice apply a nail polish. And let it dry for two minutes again and finally apply a topcoat.

This is a very simple manicure you can do even without manicure tools. The entire process will take very little time compared to the manicure at a salon also it will save some money.
