How are you doing today, hope you are doing very well. How is mum, dad and the rest of our family members doing.

Hello steemians and everyone,
Here we are again in this beautiful community for this season three week two of this engagement challenge. Thank you steeminda community for the opportunity to express my five year old self here which has been a very very long time ago 😂 but it's good to retrieve activities from my memory.

Let your five year-old self know all the important lessons you have learned along the way and the insights you have gained

Wow!! There is no end to all I have learned ever since I left the age of five years old to my present age now as a mum and very soon going to be a grand ma😂. I'm very excited, I have learned so much.

• I have learned to hold unto God tightly no matter the situation I find myself in life all the time. My salvation and saving grace comes only from him.

• I have trained myself and learned to have a regular quiet time with God to study his word and meditate on what I have learned. Not only reading through the scriptures but to study and meditate on God's word so as to have a good success in my life all through.

• I have learned that all that glitters are not gold.

• I have learned to be committed to whatever that is honorable and worthy of emulation.

• I have learned to love myself first and then to love others as I have loved myself according to the word of God in the Bible.
  That says, "love others as you love yourself". The implications here is that I have to first love myself before others because nobody can ever give what they don't have. I then advice you to take very good care of yourself at all times.

• I have learned to comport myself before others, not putting myself to confusions or shame. Just to be calm and do what I can do.

• I have learned to study my books very well to be able to be the best I can be, even when I'm called up suddenly any where for any presentations, I will still be the best I can be.

• I learned that the world and life is not bed of roses, that as I make my bed so will I lie on it.

• I have also learned to resilient at all times and to work with a smart and happy mind.

Insights I have gained in life

I have been very open in my life, learning and getting true understanding and true nature of issues of life as it affects me. Life is full of uncertainties, the unknown, ups and downs. Most of the times, you would not even know what to expect. That goes up again to what I told you earlier to hold unto God tightly all through your life. He knows the way and how to overcome whatever that comes your way.

My insight into life is that you have to define what you need out of life. Do not even say you are too young to start visualizing your future. The future waits for no one. I have the insight about life that only doing the right things and standing on and for the truth will move me forward in the right direction.

It's also the route through which you can retain quality companionship. I have gotten the insight that there are divine helpers God has positioned to help you go through certain issues of life, it's wisdom to keep and retain them whenever you meet them along life's avenues. Retain them through quality relationship. They will help you to Excell in most areas of your life.

This does not mean they're gods, rather they are water pipes through which the water of good living is meant to flow into your life from God. So keep an eye on them through life. I have a clear understanding and the insight that hard work, smart working abilities are great keys to gain success in the field of life, so appreciate and grab these opportunities they will so much help you to be on top.

I have gained great insight that life is a battlefield, do not be too simple about issues, check and confront those things that wants to put you under instead of putting you on top of life.

Share your advice with others

I have said so much I know you are an intelligent girl, you have already taken note of many things I have been saying to you above. Keep them to heart. Still I want to advise you to avoid negative peer group activities that will totally ruin whatever beautiful dreams or visions you have in life and for life. Keep good friends don't just accept someone to be your friend because he or she greets you very well or has given you some gifts, study people and their characters to know if it rimes with yours before accepting them to be great friend to avoid being a victim.

Show the vulnerabilities you have

I was exposed to certain vulnerabilities of being , bullied at school that made me afraid going to school whenever I remembered them.
At a time, I was crying and scared of being around kids like me. It wanted to turn me to inferiority complex but I picked courage and talked to mum and she just took it up, reported the bullies and the school authority warned them and I was free.

Things I wished I knew back then

I wish digital technology was this elaborately known and free as they are today. Because they make study easier, faster and smarter these days than then.
I wish there were school buses that carry kids to school then as it is today. Then we usually trek to and from a very far distance to school on foot on daily basis without fail.
I wish there were washing machines to wash dirty clothes then as they are now.
