In basic terms, energy is the ability or power that something has to cause an effect on something else or on itself. For example, if an object is dropped, it has an energy predisposed by gravity, however by not having an initial force to be thrown, this energy is transformed into kinetic energy as it picks up speed when falling to the ground.
Energy can also be stored to be used when required. For example, batteries are elements that store chemical energy and transform it into electrical energy. Even living things store energy through what we know as "fat" (lipids) or sugars. Through various processes, the body transforms the chemical energy of these substances into other types, such as the caloric energy necessary to maintain body temperature.

Renewable: This type of energy refers to the fact that it is inexhaustible, that is, due to the excess of existing "Natural" materials and easy replacement there is no specific limit to produce energy, nor do they require too much effort to obtain it... Non-renewable: Unlike the previous one, this type of energy has its obtaining in things very difficult to obtain and that are not easily replaceable, among this type of energy is oil, which in its derivatives is used as fuel for example cars, generating electricity through many processes within it

Electricity is a source of energy that can be used in many things, producing heat, light... But this sounds like only the human being has the capacity or ways to produce it, however, nature itself can do it through lightning, because the friction that clouds have generates energy that is released within an electromagnetic field, and we call that lightning or thunder.
To conclude we must know what an electromagnetic field is, because it is created once there is a strong influence of electric, magnetic or energetic movements... For example, when lightning strikes the earth, due to its high concentration of electrons in search of protons it produces electricity. This electricity is static and for a few moments during the impact it generates an electromagnetic impulse due to the space between the electrons that approach the protons this is called an electromagnetic field.
