Country flag and their meaning. Part-3

Flags always plays an important role in culture.

1. Turkey

It is accepted that Star and crescent was reflected on blood of soldiers because of that, colour of Turkish flag is blood colour. so many people spilled their blood to save the government. For this reasons, Turkis flag is blessed and valuable. For example, Turkish flag is put only on the martyr’s coffin because only the people, who laid down their lifes, have the honour of that.

It is thought that crescent represents islamic religious and star represents independence. Whatever happens, Turkish flag is a reassuring symbol both for the people living in Turkey and people of friendly nations, which approach to Turkey as friendly.

2. Vietnam

The red color symbolizes struggle, bloodshed, and revolution during the liberation struggle.

The yellow five-pointed star represents the five elements of the populace in Vietnam - peasants, workers, intellectuals, traders, and soldiers - that unite to build socialism.

The flag has a length-to-width proportion ratio of 2:3.

3. Iran

The flag of Iran is a tricolour comprising equal horizontal bands of green, white and red with the national emblem ("Allah") in red centred on the white band and the takbir written 11 times each in the Kufic script in white, at the bottom of the green and the top of the red band.

Green represents several factors of the country. It symbolize the Persian culture, Islam, it's language, nature, growth and vitality.

White represents freedom and peace.

Red represents blood of the martyr, vitality and sophistication.
