Steemit Engagement Challenge S3:W2 - Write a letter to your five-year-old self, telling him/her what you have learned so far by @professorlenz

A wonderful day to my steemit neighbors. Today I'll be writing to my 5 year old self. I'll call him Slim.

Dear Slim,

I'm Lenz, you don't know me but later you will. It will surprise you to know that I actually know a lot about you. I know you're in Primary 2. Also know you have a best friend named Humphrey Nkwonta. My purpose of writing you this letter is to give you a spoiler of your life in future.

Dear Slim, you probably never thought a time would come when you would feel so alone , so lost, so confused and downcast. You probably never thought you would be separated from your friends, having to stay alone and cater for yourself. You probably never thought you would be clueless about the next step you are going to take in life. Well, this is exactly what is going to happen to you as you get older.

When u turn 7, you'll have to move away from your current school, to an entirely different environment, different people, and culture. You'll have trouble making new friends, you'll be alone.
When you turn 8, you'll be disgraced openly in class. Everyone will laugh at you. However, you can change your fate. Just make sure you have nothing to do with your classmate named Ocheze.

When you turn 12, you'll have to leave the people you love once again. This time, it'll be a major blow to you. You'll feel sad, and even cry. You'll lose your best friend after realizing she never cared about you. You'll leave the only person who ever rivaled you in your academics, Nwanna Prince.

When you turn 13, you'll have to leave school once again due to a pandemic that would shake the world. The friends you tried to hard to get would desert you, everyone to his own tent. You'll get to experience the hardest time you've ever experienced. During the pandemic, you'll fall into depression, you'll cry, and even forget how to smile.

When you turn 15, you'll start attending a school named Lydia Secondary School. There, you'll become someone you never wanted to become. People around you will notice you've changed. They'll call you proud, hate you, and scorn you. Even at that, you'll have somebody that decided to stand by you nomatter what. Her name, Nancy

A year later, you'll be forced to leave the school due to financial crisis in your family. Forced to start a lecture where the unthinkable would happen - fall in love.
But then again, just as the others, you separated and was left heartbroken

You'll have a dream of becoming one of the best neurosurgeons in the world only to have your dream shattered by your jamb score.

Few months later you'll see yourself drowning in sorrow once again, something you had dropped. Then you'll understand the true meaning of FEAR, the true meaning of SADNESS.

At that moment, you'll come across your messiah, your savior. She'll bring you back to life, giving you gist back to back. Unlike every other story with a happy ending, yours will end badly. She'll die, yes you'll lose her. Yes, you won't even have the chance to say goodbye.

A piece of advice to you slim, don't let whatever you have or go through break you. Take your position, stand firm, and fight it.
I'm you, and you are me. Do not let your depression tie you down when the time comes. Be wary of your anti social nature. It'll make so many people who love you so much abandon you.
Be careful of the things you say, you'll make people scorn you.
One thing is sure, you'll have all the things in the world except HAPPINESS
