Another devotional day on 19 April 2022

Morning I wake up at 5 am and completed my dialy routine work. We started getting ready for a festival in Samayapuram Mariyamman temple which is located at Trichy district around Chennai - Trichy bypass road in Tamilnadu. This temple is one of the devotional temple in Tamilnadu. Many people from other districts even from other states, they come to the temple by walking from long distance from their homes to temple. On that day there is a large crowd due to the festival. Lot of devotees came from different places. There is high rush in that place on that day. I have shared a clip from Instagram to see the devotees crowd. I have also shared some of the photos taken from my mobile during the event.

We attend the celebration in the temple.
The function is called as Thaer(in Tamilnadu) which is a Vehicle made up of wood to carry the god around the streets of temple. Speciality in this festival is the vehicle is tied with a big rope which is to be pulled by people to move. It is a famous god festival in Tamilnadu during summer season.
