Hi- we say “hi” to everyone we meet. Whether it’s someone who is an acquaintance found in a stranger or some old friend. There’s no meaning to “hi” except that it is used as “an expression of greeting”. Does it mean it’s nice meeting you? Does it mean how you doing? Or does it mean any other statement which shows that you genuinely want to meet that person? Sometimes, I feel that “hi” is over rated. And yet, here I am saying Hi in my first post and introducing myself with a supposedly “expression of greeting”.
