Good day for all Steemians family! I want to share about my 1st experience during our feeding time for the poor children. I am very glad to be part of this event.
I am @analizasuperales from Visayas region temporarily living in Cebu Philippines. October 24,2021 it's Sunday we had an feeding charity event. During this event my Co steemians we decided to meet in Mepz 1 in front of gate 3 at around 6:30 in the morning with @itsmejos and @gracetorion ,while waiting to @angelycong she is the who bringing the trapulin, but so sad she can't go with as because her daughter had a fever at that time eventhough she is so excited for this event.
Our leader of this event is @liamnov she is the one who organize as, before this event we have meeting we use our time during breaktime of our work because we are Co workers also. She is the one also intruducing of this steemit to me,very enjoyable during teaching time she is.
When we arrived of the venue. I am assigned to cook for the rice eventhough it's my 1st time of my life to cook rice for almost 5klgs. of rice, for the 1st batch it was good and nice and for the second time around its not really cook well but it could be eaten because we running out of time we harsh to pack ist almost 12 noon,because we cook 10klgs all. I am proud of my self that I made it for the 1st,while other's are a sign to repack the rice, sardines, noodles, and milk. After cooking I am the one who counting all how many they repack all so that we reach 50 packs.
We have school supplies to pack by grades for the children, we put it in the plastic so that all well be orginze inside we pack paper, ballpen, crayon, and pencils by grades every children.
For me it's hard to prepared for all the food because we pack 100 pcs. 10klgs.of chicken we prepared, eventhough we are sweating but we are all happy just for the happiness of others especially for the children. I am very thankful for this event that I am also part for this.
I am the 1st batch to arrived we saw the children they are so excited they can't wait for the event.
We tell them wait and set because the food is not yet arrived. And we interview some of the kids we're are the other's kids especially in the trapulin pictures because they have a special awards.
When the time for the children we distribute food and school supplies I am telling for my Co steemians I have a nice feeling it's my 1st time to do this, and to help feeding charity for the children. I hope it's not our last to have feeding charity for the children especially for the poor family's. I was so touch one of the kid tell to me ate can I ask one more pack of school supply because I will give to my Kuya and he needs also for this for his school espcially for the module. I am truly y touch my heart that she is also thinking her brother, she was a nice sister to him. They receive happiness and joy to all who receive I can see for their eyes that they are all happy.
