This photo was taken about a year ago when we had consecutive days of heavy rain. This is at the back of our house and as you can see the water is all over the place.
This caused so much since the water also goes inside our house when the level is high at the back, it has been an ongoing issue since the outlet for the water at the back was blocked when the nearby lot had fenced the area with concrete so water doesn't have anywhere to go.
What we did to put an end to eat was to elevate our floor itself, we had to elevate it to around a ruler just so that we could make sure that the water would not be back inside. And so months after, that really solved it and it was much convenient now knowing that we are now elevated and we would not experience the struggle again.
Hi @baa.steemit, sometimes too much rain is not good. Just like my situation. Our roof has many holes. What we do inorder to prevent floods inside our house my kids prepared a pail and basin pointing to the holes where the rain falls.
